Flight Attendant Position – Piedmont Airlines

Based in Charlotte, NC, Philadelphia, PA, and Harrisburg, PA, these positions offer the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring passenger safety and comfort aboard American Eagle flights.

Responsibilities:

Flight Attendants are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of safety and inflight service. This role demands professionalism, adaptability, and the ability to manage diverse situations while interacting consistently with the public. Key duties include:

• Maintaining passenger safety and comfort throughout the flight.
• Providing proactive and effective leadership in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Working independently in the aircraft cabin without direct supervision.
• Adapting to varied work climates, locations, and shift schedules.

Qualifications:

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Height between 5’2” and 6’0”.
• Availability to work up to 14 hours per day.
• Maintain a professional appearance adhering to company standards (no visible tattoos; minimal piercings; natural hair color while in uniform).
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to navigate the aircraft cabin efficiently, including movement through aisles and exits.
• Possession of a valid passport for unrestricted international travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Two years of customer service experience.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

The position involves working in an airport environment characterized by varying weather conditions and elevated noise levels. This includes all shifts, including weekends, holidays, and irregular schedules. Extensive travel and overnight stays away from base are inherent to the role. The physical demands include frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting (up to 70 lbs.), pushing/pulling (catering carts exceeding 150 lbs.), and assisting passengers with disabilities.

Training:

A comprehensive, 35-day paid ground school training program will be conducted in Charlotte, NC, requiring candidates to reside at a hotel for five weeks. This will be followed by up to two weeks of on-the-job training. Successful completion of all training phases is mandatory.

Additional Requirements:

• Clean driving record.
• Clear 10-year criminal history background check.
• Drug screening.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
