Job Description:
The Corporate Flight Attendant serves as a vital crew member within Global Flight Operations, assuming direct responsibility for ensuring cabin safety, security, and service excellence for passengers during ground operations and throughout flight phases. This role places paramount importance on the overall safety of passengers, with secondary duties encompassing comprehensive passenger service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining direct responsibility for all aspects of cabin safety and security protocols.
- Taking decisive action and leadership in emergency situations and evacuations.
- Providing a high level of onboard customer service, including expert knowledge of safety operations and comprehensive service delivery.
- Managing cabin service elements, including food and beverage preparation and service, adhering to high standards of presentation and hygiene.
- Serving as the primary liaison with aircraft caterers and ground handling personnel at destination airports to ensure seamless operations.
- Taking ownership of the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the aircraft cabin, including diligent restocking of the aircraft galley and onboard supplies.
- Managing commissary stock, supplies, and drinks, including purchasing required items, ensuring freshness of snacks, and establishing standard stock locations.
- Handling aircraft bedding materials and ensuring supplies are current and prepared for international trips.
- Liaising with company medical personnel and external vendors to ensure all aircraft emergency and medical equipment is current and compliant.
- Supporting the goals and objectives of the Safety Management System (SMS) and security protocols.
- Performing all duties and functions in accordance with the Global Flight Operations Manual, Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs), Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and Operational Specifications, maintaining a high level of proficiency in relevant knowledge.
- Providing valuable feedback on standard operating procedures to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating with the management team on outfitting new aircraft.
- Providing the Material Coordinator with accurate lists of required supplies and quantities for ordering/re-ordering.
- Maintaining accurate aircraft cabin inventory records.
- Demonstrating familiarity with and capability to manage and troubleshoot onboard connectivity systems for passengers and cabin operations.
- Actively pursuing continuous education in leadership principles and practices.
- Performing other duties as required to support the mission of Global Flight Operations.
Job Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree is preferred; however, equivalent experience will be considered.
- Certifications: Must possess a valid U.S. Passport and formal Corporate Flight Attendant training (such as Flight Safety International, FACTS, or equivalent). Compliance with necessary background checks is required.
- Experience: Requires a minimum of 5 years of business aviation operational experience, including demonstrated proficiency in cabin safety and emergency procedures, safe food handling, and catering ordering/preparation. Experience with liaison responsibilities and cabin management is essential.
- Skills: The successful candidate will possess strong decision-making abilities, combined with proficient managerial, administrative, and analytical skills. Above-average oral and written communication skills are mandatory. Extensive operational experience, typically gained as a flight crew member, is highly valued. Superb knowledge and application of customer service delivery principles are critical. The ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating excellent leadership and motivational skills, is necessary. A take-charge personality is required, particularly for emergency situations. The role demands an external focus and the ability to handle irregular schedules, long duty periods, and potential jet lag, especially on international flights. The physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds is required. Candidates must be located within Cincinnati, OH, or within a 2-hour radius of Lunken Airport (LUK), or be willing to relocate. The capability to perform effectively under high-pressure conditions, such as in-flight emergencies or demanding VIP service requirements, is essential.
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation for roles varies based on numerous factors including location, specific role, credentials, skill set, and relevant experience. P&G offers competitive total rewards, including base salary, potential bonus opportunities (if applicable), and a comprehensive benefits package. The starting salary range for this role is $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year. Further details regarding total rewards and specific salary ranges may be shared during the hiring process.
