About the Role

Norse Atlantic Airways is seeking a Lead Cabin Crew Instructor based in Gatwick (LGW). This position supports the Chief Cabin Crew Training Manager in delivering, overseeing, and enhancing cabin crew training programmes for the UK AOC. The role is ideal for an experienced aviation training professional passionate about developing personnel and maintaining high training standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and deliver UK AOC cabin crew training activities in support of the Chief Cabin Crew Training Manager.
Ensure Cabin Crew Instructors maintain high levels of competence, knowledge, and instructional standards.
Conduct quality assurance and compliance checks on training programmes, records, and materials.
Review training syllabi, procedures, course content, and training aids for regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.
Act as deputy to the Chief Cabin Crew Training Manager as required.
Coach, mentor, and support the development of new Ground Instructors.
Assist in the development and standardization of Cabin Crew Standards Instructors.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of training systems, processes, and programmes.
Promote a positive learning environment that fosters engagement, development, and performance.

Requirements

Valid Cabin Crew Training Instructor qualification.
Current CRM Instructor certification.
Previous experience in a Senior Cabin Crew position.
Strong understanding of aviation training compliance, regulatory requirements, and training standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in a Training Manager, Deputy Training Manager, or Training Leadership role.

Desirable Qualifications

CIN qualification.
Previous experience in quality assurance, compliance oversight, or instructor development programmes.
EASA Attestation.

Role Details

Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Pattern: Approximately 50% office-based and 50% training delivery duties, with flexibility based on operational requirements.
