Global XRS Flight Attendant - Austin, TX
Solairus Aviation is seeking a dedicated, full-time Flight Attendant to join a flight operation based at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (KAUS). This position requires a flexible, detail-oriented professional committed to delivering superior service and ensuring the highest safety standards for passengers.
Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional service while ensuring the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout the flight.

Direct and assist passengers during emergency situations, including the administration of CPR, AED, and basic first aid.

Conduct comprehensive preflight briefings and ensure cabin compliance with all federal regulations prior to take-off and landing.

Manage all pre-flight logistics, including sourcing requested items and verifying that food, beverages, emergency equipment, and cabin supplies are fully stocked.

Maintain the pristine condition of the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck through continuous inspection and cleaning.

Operate all cabin management systems, galley equipment, and cabin features, including configuring berthing seats and divans.

Complete all required pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation accurately.

Reassure passengers during turbulence and conduct periodic cabin checks to monitor comfort levels.
Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.

Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations is required.

Current First Aid Training Certification is required.

Flight attendant-specific training (e.g., FlightSafety, FACTs) is preferred; annual recurrent training is mandatory. Candidates without formal training must be willing to attend initial training before assignment.

Demonstrated culinary skills and advanced culinary training are strongly preferred.

Must be technologically savvy and proficient in operating mobile devices and cabin management systems.

Ability to operate on a changing schedule, including night flights and short-notice standbys (2-3 hour response time).

Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide, including the ability to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

College degree and foreign language fluency are preferred.

Experience working with small children is preferred.
Physical Requirements

Vision must be correctable to 20/20 or better; uncorrected vision no worse than 20/20.

Must possess the physical strength to push/pull cabin doors weighing up to 130 pounds.

Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver supplies weighing 25 to 30 pounds from floor to waist height repeatedly.

Capability to stand for up to 14 hours and work in varying climates.

Ability to kneel in luggage compartments and maneuver within tight aircraft confines.

Adequate hearing and speaking abilities to communicate effectively in a flight environment.
Compensation
Solairus Aviation provides competitive compensation based on geographic area, experience, equipment type, job duties, and training. Remuneration for crewmembers ranges from $50,000 to $500,000.
