About the Role

The Flight Attendant will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of aircraft passengers during flight. Key duties include greeting passengers, demonstrating the use of safety equipment, serving food and beverages, and assisting passengers in emergencies. The role also involves meticulous cabin preparation, including stocking supplies, cleaning, and ensuring all passenger requests are met.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort.
  • Direct and assist passengers during emergencies.
  • Administer basic first aid, including CPR and AED.
  • Secure the cabin prior to take-off and landing in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Reassure passengers during turbulent conditions.
  • Conduct preflight briefings.
  • Ensure adequate stock of all necessary flight supplies.
  • Shop for passenger-requested items.
  • Inspect, clean, and stock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight leg.
  • Conduct periodic cabin checks for passenger comfort and cleanliness.
  • Complete all required flight paperwork.
  • Operate aircraft audio and video systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • First Aid Training Certification.
  • Technologically savvy.
  • Flexible and patient demeanor.
  • Culinary skills and specific culinary training.
  • Ability to manage a constantly changing schedule and late-night flights.
  • Availability to fly on short notice (2-3 hour response if on Standby).
  • Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide.
  • Able to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days.
  • Proficiency in operating cabin management systems, galley equipment, and all cabin features (e.g., berthing seats, configuring divans into beds).
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Vision correctable to 20/20 or better.
  • Ability to speak clearly and communicate effectively.
  • Physically capable of prolonged standing and walking, as well as maneuvering in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift supplies weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

  • Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar is preferred.
  • Annual recurrent training is required.
  • Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered but must attend initial training before assignment.
  • Preference for candidates who have completed approved training within the past 12 months.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Fluency in one or more foreign languages is preferred.
  • Experience with small children is preferred.
