Solairus Aviation seeks a dedicated Full-Time Flight Attendant to join a Gulfstream G700 operation based in Van Nuys, California. The Flight Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers throughout their flights.
About the Role

Provide an exceptional level of service to clients, prioritizing passenger safety and comfort during all flights.

Direct and assist passengers in emergency situations and administer basic first aid, including CPR and AED.

Secure the cabin in accordance with federal regulations prior to take-off and landing.

Manage all cabin supplies, including food, beverages, and emergency equipment, ensuring they are sufficient for each trip.

Shop for passenger-requested items for in-flight use.

Conduct thorough preflight, in-flight, and post-flight cabin inspections, cleaning, and restocking to ensure the aircraft is always flight-ready and immaculate.

Operate cabin management systems, audio/video equipment, and all galley equipment.

Configure aircraft seating and sleeping arrangements as needed.

Complete all required preflight, in-flight, and post-flight documentation.
Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.

Demonstrated culinary skills and specific culinary training; advanced culinary training is strongly preferred.

Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.

Current First Aid Training Certification.

Technologically savvy with proficiency in using computers, smartphones, and/or iPad devices.

Flexibility, patience, and the ability to manage a dynamic schedule, including late-night flights and short-notice deployments (2-3 hour response time when on standby).

Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide, considering health and visa status.

Physical capability to stand for up to 14 hours, maneuver in confined spaces, lift items up to 25-30 pounds, and push/pull heavy cabin doors.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Qualifications

Flight attendant-specific training from recognized institutions such as FlightSafety or FACTS is preferred. Annual recurrent training is mandatory.

Candidates without formal training may be considered based on extensive experience but must complete initial flight attendant training before flight assignments.

Preference is given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTS, or similar training within the past 12 months.

A college degree is preferred.

Fluency in one or more foreign languages is preferred.

Experience with small children is preferred.

Vision must be correctable to 20/20.
