Overview
Eastern Air Express is seeking a highly motivated and dependable Inflight Supervisor to join the Miami operations team. This role is essential for the day-to-day oversight of frontline staff, ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional execution of operational standards. The successful candidate will foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence while maintaining strict compliance with company policies and FAA regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision and support to flight attendants and operational staff at the Miami base.

Collaborate with the Miami operations team to ensure on-time departures and smooth operational performance.

Maintain current status as a flight attendant and operate flights as necessary to support the operation.

Monitor staff performance, attendance, and adherence to company policies.

Conduct pre-flight briefings and post-flight debriefs when required.

Serve as a liaison between crew members and management, escalating issues as necessary.

Participate in investigations, fact-finding missions, and disciplinary procedures.

Coordinate responses to irregular operations and provide support during service disruptions.

Deliver coaching, recognition, and corrective feedback in a professional and timely manner.

Assist in the hiring, onboarding, and training processes for new team members.

Ensure the consistent application of safety and service standards across all operations.
Schedule and Availability
The candidate must be available five days per week with the flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and irregular hours, including early mornings and late evenings, to support operational requirements.
Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience, preferably within the aviation or transportation industry.

Previous experience as a flight attendant or operations team member is preferred.

Must maintain active flight status and meet all required flight attendant qualifications.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure environments.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and company scheduling software.

Ability to obtain and maintain necessary airport security clearance.
