Solairus Aviation seeks a Full-Time Flight Attendant for a Gulfstream G700 operation based in Van Nuys, CA. This role is dedicated to providing exceptional service to passengers, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout flights, and supporting the aircraft operations.
About the Role
The Flight Attendant will be responsible for delivering superior service to passengers, managing all aspects of in-flight comfort and safety. This includes pre-flight preparations, in-flight service, and post-flight duties. The ideal candidate will be a flexible team player, possess strong culinary skills, and be prepared to take on additional responsibilities to meet client needs around the clock.
Essential Responsibilities

Provide a high level of service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort during flights.

Direct and assist passengers in emergency situations and administer basic first aid.

Secure the cabin pre-flight and post-flight in compliance with federal regulations.

Reassure passengers during turbulence or other unsettling situations.

Conduct pre-flight briefings.

Ensure all necessary supplies, including food and beverages, emergency equipment, and other provisions, are on board and sufficient for the flight.

Shop for passenger-requested items for their flight.

Inspect, clean, and stock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight leg, ensuring the aircraft is always prepared and immaculate.

Conduct periodic cabin checks to maintain passenger comfort and cleanliness.

Complete pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.

Operate audio, video, and cabin management systems.

Operate all galley equipment and cabin features, including seat configurations.
Qualifications

Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.

First Aid Training Certification.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.

Flight attendant-specific training from recognized institutions is preferred. Candidates without formal training may be considered but will be required to attend initial training before flight assignment.

Proficiency in technology and modern devices.

Demonstrated culinary skills and specific culinary training.

Ability to manage a dynamic schedule, including late-night flights and responding to standby calls within 2-3 hours.

Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide, considering health and visa status.

Capability to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

High level of attention to detail.

College degree preferred.

Fluency in one or more foreign languages is preferred.

Physical Requirements

Clear speech and adequate hearing for effective communication in all environments, including inflight.

Physical capability to walk and stand unaided for extended periods (up to 14 hours) and work in various climates.

Ability to kneel in luggage compartments and maneuver in confined aircraft spaces.

Strength to push/pull cabin doors and lift supplies weighing approximately 25-30 pounds repeatedly.

Proficiency in writing, typing, computer use, and food preparation/service.
