Large Cabin Training Ground Instructor, Lead

Overview

The Large Cabin Training Ground Instructor, Lead is responsible for delivering comprehensive classroom and hands-on training to both new and experienced Flight Attendants. This role is crucial in teaching essential skills including safety and emergency procedures, service standards, and Crew Resource Management (CRM). The position requires a thorough understanding of aviation safety regulations and plays a vital role in ensuring Flight Attendants are fully prepared to provide exceptional safety and customer service in accordance with company standards.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Instructing New Hire Training Sessions:
    • Leads instructional sessions for new flight attendants covering safety procedures, service standards, and CRM.
    • Provides hands-on training to ensure new hires achieve proficiency in the usage of safety equipment and emergency protocols.
    • Offers guidance and support to facilitate new hires' acclimation to their roles and the company culture.
  • Delivering Ongoing Training for All Current Flight Attendants:
    • Develops and delivers refresher training programs to keep all current flight attendants current with safety regulations and service standards.
    • Organizes recurrent training sessions to reinforce key concepts and best practices.
    • Offers specialized training modules based on feedback and industry updates.
  • Collaborating on Course Development:
    • Works collaboratively with the training team to develop engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, manuals, and interactive exercises.
    • Provides insights and suggestions for the improvement of existing courses and the development of new ones.
    • Incorporates feedback from stakeholders to enhance the overall training curriculum.
  • Collaborating with Existing Large Cabin Ground Instructors (LCIs):
    • Coordinates with other Large Cabin Ground Instructors to share best practices and ensure consistency in training delivery.
    • Participates in team meetings to discuss training strategies, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Supports and mentors new LCIs to aid their integration into the team and encourage excellence in their roles.
