Ground Instructor / Courseware Developer
This position is responsible for conducting Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) mandated ground training for NetJets crewmembers, as well as delivering operational training to other company personnel. The Ground Instructor / Courseware Developer facilitates pilot training programs and assists in the development of training materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as a Classroom Facilitator and Coordinator, providing ground instruction to new hires, recurrent trainees, and those undergoing upgrades or remedial training. Instruction is delivered through lectures, videos, and computer-aided courses. The role also includes training company personnel on operational procedures. Classroom presentations are conducted in accordance with established schedules, outlines, and manuals.
- The individual will coordinate with other departments on training activities and manage tasks to meet deadlines.
- Contributes to Courseware Development by assisting with editing and maintaining existing presentations and developing new classroom materials.
- Maintains accurate training records within the Aviation Training Management System (ATMS), adhering to approved program forms and procedures.
- Builds and sustains positive professional relationships with crew members, offering excellent service to all internal and external stakeholders. Ensures timely communication and escalation of issues within the training department.
- Provides support for Training & Standards Department and Flight Operations projects as directed by management. Collaborates with team members to promote efficiency and effectiveness and works with fellow Ground Instructors to complete assigned tasks.
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Aviation or Business Administration is required.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of relevant experience.
