Ground Instructor / Courseware Developer

This individual is primarily responsible for delivering FAA-mandated ground training to NetJets crewmembers. The Ground Instructor / Courseware Developer will also provide training on operational topics to other company personnel.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and coordinate classroom instruction, providing ground training to new pilot hires, recurrent, upgrade, and remedial training using lectures, videos, and computer-aided courses. This includes training other company personnel on operations-related material. Deliver presentations according to published schedules, training outlines, and the training manual.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other groups and departments on training activities provided to the Training & Standards Department. Manage and complete tasks within established deadlines.
  • Assist with courseware development, including editing and maintaining existing presentations and developing new classroom materials.
  • Maintain accurate and complete training records using the Aviation Training Management System (ATMS) and approved training program procedures.
  • Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with crew members by providing friendly and courteous service to all internal and external clients. Ensure timely notification and escalation of issues within the training department.
  • Participate in Training & Standards Department and Flight Operations projects and activities as assigned by management. Collaborate with Training & Standards personnel to ensure team efficiency and effectiveness. Partner with all Ground Instructor personnel to complete daily and assigned tasks.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation or Business Administration required.

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of relevant professional experience required.
