As the face of NetJets Large Cabin, the Flight Attendant plays a pivotal role in delivering an unparalleled air transportation experience. This encompasses not only maintaining an impeccable safety record on every flight but also curating an exceptional inflight service experience for each NetJets Owner and passenger.
A Concierge in the Sky
Embracing a dynamic role, the Flight Attendant seamlessly transitions between inflight chef, service professional, and safety expert, consistently maintaining a professional demeanor. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring Safety and Compliance: Upholding the highest safety standards for all passengers, adhering to the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM), Service Procedures Checklist, and Standard Operating Procedures. Conducting preflight checks, delivering comprehensive safety briefings, and demonstrating expertise in onboard safety, entertainment, and comfort features.
- Delivering Exquisite Service: Providing attentive inflight service, including the responsible handling of alcohol, elegant presentation of catering, preparation of comfortable sleeping arrangements, and meticulous adherence to owner notes and profiles.
- Seamless Travel Experience: Acting as a dedicated liaison for Owners/passengers from FBO arrival to departure at their final destination, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable journey.
- Exceeding Expectations: Going above and beyond by sourcing catering when needed, expertly managing cabin baggage, accommodating passengers traveling with pets and those who smoke, and seamlessly handling any in-flight maintenance issues.
- Effective Communication and Collaboration: Communicating effectively with the Pilot in Command regarding any cabin discrepancies and efficiently completing paperwork related to inventory, passdowns, and crew reports. Working collaboratively within a team/crew environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred with a focus on hospitality, customer service, business, or culinary arts.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in customer service, culinary arts, service industry, aviation, or related fields.
- Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, proficiency in MS Office Suite, ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and a strong commitment to providing unparalleled service.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must meet specific aircraft dimension requirements.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to travel internationally and possess a valid passport and driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain required security badges.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to work around animals.
- Must be able to work on flights with passengers who smoke.
- Must obtain and maintain Flight Attendant Certification and meet FAA requirements.
- Must successfully complete the NetJets Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program.
