About the Role
NetJets, the global private aviation leader, is seeking a Flight Attendant to deliver an elite and personalized air travel experience. This role is crucial in maintaining NetJets' commitment to safety, security, and exceptional service, representing the pinnacle of private aviation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of all passengers within the aircraft cabin, adhering to all manuals, procedures, and policies.
- Conduct preflight inspections, welcome passengers professionally, and provide expertise on aircraft systems.
- Source and present high-quality catering that meets luxury standards and Owner preferences.
- Deliver elevated inflight service, including premium beverage and food presentation and execution of bespoke Owner profiles.
- Ensure safe and correct stowage of cabin baggage.
- Accommodate flights with pets or smoking onboard with discretion and service excellence.
- Collaborate effectively with crew and other internal teams to ensure seamless operations and compliance.
- Act as a liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets throughout the travel experience.
- Proactively communicate cabin-related concerns to the Pilot in Command.
- Complete administrative duties, including inventory documentation and crew reports, with accuracy.
- Maintain the aircraft cabin in a consistently clean and organized state.
- Utilize innovative thinking to address complex issues and make prompt decisions in dynamic environments.
- Perform other assigned responsibilities based on trip or operational requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience.
- Minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with a concentration in hospitality, customer service, business, or culinary arts.
- Outstanding communication skills, with clarity, professionalism, and poise.
- Proficient in personal computing, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Body size must not exceed specific aircraft dimensions for jump seat, harness, cabin aisle, and emergency exit.
- Available for flexible scheduling, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated exceptional adaptability and ability to perform in dynamic environments.
- Ability to manage personal rest effectively for active duty.
- Willingness and ability to travel away from home for seven or more consecutive days and nights.
- Eligible to obtain all necessary airport authority and U.S. Customs security credentials.
- Successful completion of TSA background screenings and required clearances.
- Possession of a valid passport and ability to travel internationally without restriction.
- Hold a valid State-issued driver’s license.
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
- Highly polished, service-oriented appearance and demeanor.
- Superior oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities with acute attention to detail.
- Ability to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Comfortable working around animals.
- Must maintain required Flight Attendant certification and FAA compliance post-hire.
- Must successfully complete the NetJets Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program.
