Position Summary

NetJets Aviation, Inc. is seeking highly professional and service-oriented individuals for the position of Flight Attendant. As a pivotal brand ambassador, the Flight Attendant is entrusted with delivering an elite and personalized air travel experience while upholding an uncompromising commitment to safety and security. This role represents the pinnacle of private aviation, combining safety leadership, refined inflight service, and bespoke hospitality. The successful candidate will serve as the face of NetJets, ensuring each flight reflects the company's unwavering standards, with safety as the foremost priority, followed by a seamless, luxurious travel experience that consistently anticipates and exceeds the expectations of every NetJets Owner.

Key Responsibilities

The Flight Attendant will perform a comprehensive range of critical duties, including but not limited to:

  • Ensuring the paramount safety and security of all Owners and passengers within the aircraft cabin through strict adherence to the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM), Service Procedures Checklist, Standard Operating Procedures, and all associated company policies.
  • Conducting thorough interior preflight inspections and extending a warm, professional welcome to Owners and guests upon boarding.
  • Providing personalized safety briefings and serving as the subject matter expert on all aircraft safety, comfort, and entertainment systems.
  • Sourcing high-quality catering from external providers when necessary, meticulously ensuring all items meet luxury standards and align precisely with Owner preferences.
  • Delivering an elevated inflight service experience, encompassing premium beverage and food presentation, turndown service, and the meticulous execution of bespoke Owner profiles and detailed service notes.
  • Ensuring all cabin baggage is correctly and safely stowed in strict accordance with regulatory and company policies.
  • Skillfully conducting flights for Owners traveling with pets or who permit smoking onboard, while consistently maintaining the highest standards of discretion and service excellence.
  • Operating effectively within a collaborative team and crew environment, ensuring consistent compliance with all safety and operational protocols. This includes close collaboration with internal teams such as Owner Services and NetJets Service Representatives to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Acting as a trusted liaison for Owners and passengers from their arrival at the Fixed Base Operator (FBO) through safe arrival at their destination, ensuring a luxurious and uninterrupted experience throughout their journey.
  • Proactively communicating any cabin-related maintenance concerns or irregularities to the Pilot in Command to facilitate prompt resolution.
  • Completing all administrative duties, including inventory documentation, service passdowns, and required crew reports, with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Maintaining the aircraft cabin in a consistently pristine and organized state, adhering rigorously to company standards.
  • Leveraging innovative thinking to address complex issues and making prompt, effective decisions in dynamic environments to drive successful outcomes.
  • Performing other responsibilities as assigned, dependent on specific trip or operational requirements.

Qualifications

Education

  • A High School Diploma is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in hospitality, customer service, business, or culinary arts is preferred.

Experience

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience is required.

Certifications and Licenses

  • Must possess a valid State-issued driver’s license.
  • Must possess a valid passport and maintain the ability to travel internationally without restriction.
  • Must be eligible to obtain all necessary airport authority and U.S. Customs security credentials.
  • Must successfully pass all Transportation Security Administration (TSA) background screenings and obtain required airport and U.S. Customs clearances.
  • Successful completion of the NetJets Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program is required post-hire.
  • Maintaining required Flight Attendant certification and FAA compliance post-hire is mandatory.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs)

  • Must be a minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Demonstrates outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage with clarity, professionalism, and poise.
  • Proficient in personal computing, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Body size must not exceed specific aircraft dimensions to ensure proper use of jump seat, harness without modification, cabin aisle, and emergency exit.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrates exceptional adaptability and the ability to perform effectively in dynamic and fast-changing environments.
  • Capable of managing personal rest effectively in preparation for active duty throughout the duration of each tour.
  • Flight duty periods may last up to fourteen (14) hours daily over an eight (8) day period, crossing multiple time zones and varying climate conditions.
  • While on duty, must be willing and able to travel away from home for seven or more consecutive days and nights, with accommodations provided.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
  • Exhibits a highly polished, service-oriented appearance and demeanor, capable of creating positive first and lasting impressions and engaging effectively with Owners.
  • Possesses superior oral and written communication skills, particularly under pressure or in high-stakes situations.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making abilities, with acute attention to detail in both technical and service-oriented matters.
  • Capable of exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Comfortable working around animals, including providing care and attention during and surrounding Owner flights.
