Elevate Every Journey as a NetJets Large Cabin Flight Attendant
Purpose of Position
The Flight Attendant plays a pivotal role in delivering an unparalleled air transportation experience, ensuring the highest safety standards on every flight. As the face of NetJets Large Cabin, this individual provides not only safe passage but also an exceptional inflight service experience for every NetJets Owner and passenger. Adaptability is key, as the Flight Attendant seamlessly transitions between roles, acting as an inflight chef, a service professional, and a safety expert, always maintaining an unwavering professional demeanor.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Safety First: Responsible for the safety and well-being of all Owners and passengers within the aircraft cabin, adhering to the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM), Service Procedures Checklist, and Standard Operating Procedures. This includes conducting pre-flight checks, welcoming and briefing Owners/passengers on aircraft features, delivering comprehensive safety briefings, and serving as a subject matter expert on all onboard safety, entertainment, and comfort amenities.
- Catering and Service Excellence: Proactively secures catering from external sources when necessary. Delivers impeccable inflight service, including the handling of alcoholic beverages, presenting catering, preparing sleeping arrangements, and meticulously following detailed owner notes and profiles.
- Efficient and Discreet Operations: Ensures the proper stowage of cabin baggage and maintains a pristine cabin environment. Demonstrates proficiency in managing flights for Owners with pets and those who smoke.
- Teamwork and Communication: Works seamlessly within a team/crew environment to guarantee compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory guidelines. Acts as a liaison for Owners/passengers and NetJets from arrival at the FBO to departure at their final destination.
- Technical Proficiency: Effectively communicates any cabin maintenance irregularities or discrepancies to the Pilot in Command and diligently completes all necessary paperwork related to inventory management, passdowns, and required crew reports.
Education
High School Diploma required.
Experience
2-4 years of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, ideally in hospitality, customer service, business, or culinary arts.
- Prior experience in customer service, culinary arts, service industry, or aviation is highly desirable.

- Exceptional Communication: Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, even under pressure.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrates proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Service-Oriented: Maintains a professional and approachable demeanor with a neat, well-groomed appearance. Demonstrates a strong ability to interact effectively with passengers and create a positive experience.
- Adaptability and Flexibility: Able to work varying hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be extremely flexible and comfortable adjusting to rapid changes.
- Physical Requirements: Must be at least twenty-one years of age. Body size cannot exceed specific aircraft dimensions (jump seat, harness, cabin aisle, emergency exit). Must be able to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.
- Travel and Documentation: Must possess a valid passport and be eligible for unrestricted international travel. Must have a valid State driver's license and be able to secure appropriate airport authority and US Customs security badges. Must be able to pass the Transportation Security Administration's required background screening.
- Additional Requirements: Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and comprehend the English language. Must be able to manage rest effectively to be prepared for flight duty. Duties may last up to fourteen hours per day for up to eight days, potentially spanning different time zones and extreme weather conditions. Must be comfortable being away from home for seven or more days and nights while on duty.
Training & Certification
- Must successfully complete the NetJets Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program.
- Must maintain Flight Attendant Certification and meet all FAA requirements post-hire.
