Position Summary
The Flight Attendant plays a pivotal role in delivering a superior air transportation experience, upholding an exemplary safety record on every flight. As the face of NetJets' Large Cabin service, the Flight Attendant is responsible for ensuring both safe transportation and an exceptional in-flight service experience for every NetJets Owner and passenger. This versatile role requires the ability to embody a concierge-level service provider, excelling as an in-flight chef, service professional, and safety expert, while consistently maintaining a professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all Owners and passengers within the aircraft cabin, strictly adhering to the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM), Service Procedures Checklist, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Conduct thorough interior pre-flight checks and warmly greet Owners/passengers upon arrival.
- Provide comprehensive safety briefings and serve as a subject matter expert on all onboard safety, entertainment, and comfort features of the aircraft.
- Proactively manage and obtain catering from external sources when necessary.
- Deliver premium in-flight service, including the professional handling of alcoholic beverages, service of catering, preparation of beds, and meticulous adherence to detailed Owner notes and profiles.
- Ensure all cabin baggage is properly stowed in compliance with safety regulations.
- Accommodate Owners traveling with pets and those who smoke, ensuring a comfortable environment for all.
- Collaborate effectively within a team/crew environment, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Act as a primary liaison between Owners/passengers and NetJets, from their arrival at the FBO until their safe landing at the destination and departure from the final FBO.
- Accurately communicate any cabin maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies to the Pilot in Command.
- Complete all necessary paperwork related to inventory management, pass-downs, and required crew reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned, depending on specific flight assignments.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on hospitality, customer service, business, or culinary arts.
Experience
- 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Related work experience in customer service, culinary arts, the service industry, or aviation is highly valued.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAOs)
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in personal computing, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Body size must not exceed specific aircraft dimensions (e.g., ability to fit in a jump seat, wear a harness without modification, navigate cabin aisles and emergency exits).
- Ability to work varying hours, including day and night shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Exceptional flexibility and demonstrated ability to adapt to rapid changes in schedule or plans.
- Capability to manage personal rest effectively to be prepared for flight duty throughout a tour.
- Willingness to undertake duty periods lasting up to fourteen (14) hours per day for up to eight (8) days, potentially spanning different time zones and extreme weather conditions during a trip.
- Readiness to be away from home for seven (7) or more days and nights while on duty, staying in hotels.
- Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Successful completion of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) required background screening.
- Possession of a valid passport with the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Possession of a valid State driver's license.
- Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
- Strong service orientation with a neat, well-groomed appearance, demonstrating a positive impression and strong capability to effectively interact with passengers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to make quick and accurate decisions, paying close attention to detail from both a technical and passenger-service perspective.
- Physical ability to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally, up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Comfortable working around animals, including handling and caring for them prior to, during, and after Owner flights.
- Ability to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
- Commitment to maintaining Flight Attendant Certification and fulfilling all FAA requirements post-hire.
- Successful completion of the NetJets Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program is required.
