Purpose of Position
The Inflight Resource Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall performance and productivity of the Flight Attendant group. This role involves providing coaching, guidance, and leadership to cultivate a high-performing, collaborative team environment focused on operational excellence while upholding the highest safety and service standards. The Inflight Resource Manager collaborates with key stakeholders to support Flight Attendant performance, optimize resource allocation, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within inflight operations.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Performance Management & Development
- Manages Flight Attendant performance metrics to ensure alignment with company goals and service expectations.
- Conducts coaching and development discussions, providing the Inflight team with data-driven insights to enhance performance.
- Coaches and counsels Flight Attendants to consistently achieve exceptional inflight service levels.
- Partners with Labor Relations to determine necessary actions, including coaching, additional training, wellness checks, and facilitating both non-disciplinary and disciplinary meetings.
- Supports the professional growth of Flight Attendants by offering guidance on company policies, federal aviation regulations (FARs), and labor agreements.
Resource & Leave Management
- Collaborates with Labor Relations and the Leave of Absence (LOA) team to monitor Flight Attendant leave trends, analyze patterns, and address potential issues.
- Manages Flight Attendant resources effectively to optimize scheduling, availability, and operational efficiency.
- Supports strategic initiatives focused on enhancing Flight Attendant engagement and retention.
Oversight & Leadership
- Partners with the Director, Inflight and Training, Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A), Scheduling, and Crew Capacity teams to develop and execute the Inflight productivity strategy.
- Leads and supports projects impacting Flight Attendant operations, working cross-functionally with departments including Owner Services, Scheduling, Operations, Safety, and Training.
- Maintains a productive relationship with the Flight Attendant Executive Council (FAEC) and Union Representatives to resolve issues collaboratively.
- Works with the LMRP Manager in Labor Relations to manage contractual Union/Company Committee relationships between Inflight and the FAEC.
- Drives continuous improvement efforts across inflight operations to enhance efficiency, service quality, and safety protocols.

Education
A Bachelor's degree in Aviation or Human Resources is typically required.
Years of Experience
Candidates should possess 6-8 years of relevant experience.
