Flight Attendant Manager - Corporate Aviation
Liberty Mutual, a leading insurance company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our dynamic team as a Flight Attendant Manager in Bedford, Massachusetts. This role will provide leadership for our team of flight attendants, ensuring the highest standards of safety, service, and operational excellence within our corporate aviation program.
Responsibilities:
- Training and Development: Develop, implement, and monitor flight attendant training programs in accordance with regulatory and manufacturer guidelines. Ensure adherence to safety and technical standards.
- Service Standards: Establish and maintain service standards aligned with industry best practices and company guidelines, in collaboration with the Director of Aviation.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Foster a strong sense of teamwork between pilot and flight attendant teams, ensuring seamless operational procedures and clear communication.
- Operational Documentation: Contribute to and collaborate on operational documentation, including the General Operations Manual, communicating changes and revisions to relevant personnel.
- Aircraft Systems Knowledge: Ensure all flight attendants possess comprehensive knowledge of aircraft systems, equipment, and operating limitations for the safe conduct of flight operations.
- Vendor Management: Identify and manage relationships with vendors supporting flight attendant operations, periodically reviewing effectiveness and cost in coordination with the Corporate Aviation leadership team.
- Inventory and Catering: Oversee aircraft stock and service item inventories, ensuring adherence to service and cost guidelines. Manage aircraft catering practices.
- Hangar Operations: Supervise the hangar stock/prep room and coordinate coffee/beverage service at the facility.
- Leadership and Culture: Foster an atmosphere of trust, support, and respect, embodying Liberty Mutual's Identity and Values.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a flight attendant, preferably in business aviation operations conducted globally in large cabin aircraft under Part 91, 91K, or 135.
- Prior experience leading and developing a team is preferred.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Valid U.S. passport with the ability to travel worldwide without restrictions.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift/move heavy objects (e.g., life raft).
- College degree or equivalent experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Typical starting salary range: $147,700 - $193,300.
- Minimum salary: $133,500.
- Maximum salary: $233,600.
- Full-time schedule.
- 20 days of annual flexible time off accrual.
