Senior International Flight Attendant

Labcorp is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior International Flight Attendant to join its dynamic and growing International Flight team. This pivotal role is integral to ensuring the safe, secure, and comfortable transport of passengers aboard the corporate aircraft, which supports the company's C-Suite executives and board members. The Senior International Flight Attendant acts as a key flight crew member, upholding the highest standards of cabin safety, service, and regulatory compliance, while also undertaking executive aircraft scheduling responsibilities.
This position requires a high level of self-initiative and the ability to work effectively within a team environment, collaborating with internal and external business partners and Labcorp teammates at all levels. The role reports to the Chief Pilot but is directly responsible to the Pilot in Command (PIC) on each flight as the final authority for aircraft operation and crew.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary flight crew member, focusing on cabin safety, passenger comfort, and emergency procedures in accordance with Labcorp GOM, IOM, company policies, FAA regulations, and Department of Homeland Security regulations.
- Operate cabin technology and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Act as the Executive Aircraft Scheduler, providing centralized scheduling for employee travel on company aircraft, including coordination of departures, arrivals, FBO services, crew logistics (hotel, ground transport), catering, and passenger documentation.
- Maintain proper compliance with applicable FAA and other aviation authority regulations.
- Ensure appropriate and safe service levels are consistently met, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
- Manage vendor services, including ordering and delivery of catering, and maintain the stockroom for corporate jet cabin service needs.
- Actively participate in the company's Safety Management System (SMS), fostering an open reporting environment for safety issues and hazards.
- Prepare the aircraft cabin before and after flights, ensuring cleanliness and adequate stocking of passenger amenities.
- Organize catering and specific customer requests onboard.
- Report any hazardous conditions, conduct, or events immediately to relevant safety and aviation leadership.
- Incorporate health and safety information into passenger briefings.
- Contribute to the corporate jet budget forecast, specifically regarding operational needs.
- Provide value-added feedback to aviation team members.
- Foster a safe, professional, and inclusive environment, maintaining appearance and uniform standards.
Work Environment & Conditions:
- This position is based at the Burlington Alamance Regional Airport (KBUY).
- Requires living within a one-hour drive of KBUY airport.
- Working with a diverse and inclusive team of aviation professionals in a state-of-the-art hangar.
- Operating on well-equipped, professionally maintained aircraft.
- Travel is required, with trips potentially lasting up to two weeks (including training).
- Ability to lift passenger baggage and/or cargo up to 50 lbs is necessary.
- Wearing a uniform is required.
- Requires flexibility to accommodate a variable schedule, including weekdays, weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.
- May be called upon for assistance with special projects (e.g., manuals, SOPs, safety reports, meetings).
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Associate degree.
- Current and relevant experience as an International Flight Attendant, particularly on Corporate Executive Jet Aircraft.
- Experience with food sourcing, procurement, high-end culinary preparation, and presentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and professional decorum.
- Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting and cost management.
- High Emotional Intelligence.
- Safety culture mindset and experience with Crew Resource Management (CRM).
- Must be able to attain and maintain a US Passport.
- Must have no travel restrictions to other countries.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Culinary Experience.
- Executive Assistant experience at the C-Suite level.
- Experience providing high-end service.
- Experience with flight scheduling and scheduling software.

- Exceptional professionalism, particularly when interacting with senior executive levels.
- Superior customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, utilizing CRM skills.
