Jet Linx is currently seeking a highly qualified Second in Command (SIC) to join our flight operations team. This role focuses on the safe and efficient operation of Midsize jet aircraft for both Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations. The successful candidate must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, the Baltimore area and maintain a two-hour call-out radius from the aircraft base.
Position Summary
The Second in Command reports directly to the Base Chief Pilot. This position is responsible for assisting in the preparation and operation of company aircraft in strict accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and established company procedures.
Minimum Requirements

Total Flight Time: 1,500 hours

Total Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 500 hours

Total Multi-Engine: 500 hours

Total Turbine: 100 hours

Total Instrument: 150 hours
Essential Functions

Manage duty, flight, and rest times in compliance with company standards and CFRs.

Maintain professional communication regarding standby duty, trip notifications, and flight reporting.

Manage Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and software applications.

Ensure all navigation charts, company manuals, and publications remain current.

Maintain a valid 1st Class medical certificate.

Professional Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Ability to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate.

Current 1st Class medical certificate and FCC Restricted Radio License.

Current passport with unrestricted travel ability to Canada and the Caribbean.

Possession of, or ability to obtain, a U.S. driver's license.

Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and ongoing random drug/alcohol testing.

Successful completion of an FAA Pilot Record Database (PRD) review.

Preferred: Initial or recurrent 142 training in type within the last 24 months.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical ability to frequently move up to 50 pounds; work primarily conducted in and around aircraft and terminals.
Compensation and Benefits
Jet Linx provides a competitive compensation and benefits package. The starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $150,000, determined by geographic location, aircraft specifications, and the candidate's education and experience. Benefits include:
