Citation XL Second-in-Command (SIC) – Ventura Air Services

Ventura Air Services is seeking a qualified and career-driven SIC to join our growing fleet for a Citation XL. As an established Part 135 operator, we are dedicated to professional growth, integrity, and fostering a supportive family-owned environment for our pilots.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to safety, stability, and excellence in both domestic and international operations. Ventura prioritizes long-term career growth, offering opportunities for professional advancement, including roles as company instructors, standards/IOE captains, or Check Airmen.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary: $90,000.
Schedule: Flexible options including 8/6 and 15/13 rotations, with travel days included.
Home-Based Flexibility: Eligible to reside within two hours of any airport in the lower 48 states.
Allowances: Company-issued credit cards for travel expenses; per diem of $80 (domestic) and $95 (international).

Candidate Requirements

Commercial Pilot Certificate.
ATP/CTP certification with ATP written examination completed.
Current 1st Class Medical certificate.
Minimum of 2,000 hours total flight time.
Minimum of 500 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time.
Must possess the legal right to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
Must be able to travel internationally without restriction.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Part 135 operations.
Experience flying other Citation variants.
Completed initial/recurrent training in type within the previous 36 months.
Prior international flight experience.
