Position: Texas Screwworm Eradication (TSE) First Officer

Dynamic Aviation is seeking a professional First Officer to support the Texas Screwworm Eradication (TSE) project. Reporting to the Base Manager, the First Officer is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Beechcraft King Air 90 aircraft, ensuring mission success through technical proficiency and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute all duties and responsibilities required of a Second in Command (SIC).
  • Maintain comprehensive situational awareness regarding destination and alternate airports, meteorological conditions, fuel requirements, navigation aids, and NOTAMs.
  • Foster a robust aviation safety culture and ensure full compliance with the company’s Safety Management System.
  • Provide regular updates to the Base Manager concerning aircraft status, weather, or operational issues that may impact mission objectives.
  • Manage all assigned preflight, postflight, and operational reporting requirements.
  • Operate and maintain fly dispersal equipment during and after flight missions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • FAA Commercial multi-engine pilot certificate with instrument rating.
  • Current FAA First or Second Class Medical certificate.
  • Minimum of 250 hours total flight time.
  • Demonstrated ability to function effectively within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated, teachable, and diligent work ethic.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing computer programs for time tracking, record keeping, and expense reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 500 hours total flight time.
  • Relevant college degree.
  • Fluency in the Spanish language.

Additional Requirements

  • Must relocate to the Edinburg, TX area.
  • Ability to lift, balance, and carry up to 75 lbs.
