Purpose of Position

The Pilot serves as the face of NetJets, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft while delivering an exceptional service experience for every passenger. As the final authority on their aircraft, the Pilot manages all flight operations while maintaining a professional demeanor and fulfilling the diverse responsibilities of an aviator and in-flight service provider.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Operate aircraft safely from taxi, take-off, and landing in accordance with FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, NetJets manuals, and SOPs.
  • Conduct pre-flight briefings, verify itineraries, provide weather updates, and deliver safety briefings to passengers.
  • Deliver in-flight service, including the professional handling of catering and alcohol.
  • Load and properly stow passenger baggage.
  • Accommodate flights involving pets and passengers who smoke.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for passengers from arrival at the FBO until final departure.
  • Report and document maintenance abnormalities or discrepancies via the Maintenance Control Center (MCC).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications: Written FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and a current First-Class Medical Certificate.
  • Regulatory: FAA ATP, Restricted ATP (R-ATP), or eligibility per IAW 61.160.
  • Flight Experience: Must meet specific requirements regarding total flight time (1,000–1,500 hours depending on qualifications), fixed-wing PIC, night flight, instrument, and multi-engine time.
  • Documentation: FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit, valid U.S. passport, and valid State driver's license.
  • Clearance: Ability to pass TSA background screenings and secure necessary airport/US Customs security badges.
  • Language: Fluency in English (read, write, and speak).

Core Competencies and Physical Demands

  • Competencies: Adaptability, collaboration, service-orientation, curiosity, and a drive for positive results.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and manage rest for flight readiness during tours lasting up to eight days.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $86,015 - $117,706
