Job Title: Pilot Second in Command (SIC) - B737-600NG

We are seeking a professional and safety-conscious Pilot Second in Command (SIC) to operate B737-600NG aircraft for passenger and cargo transport. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safety of passengers, crew, and assets while adhering to rigorous aviation standards and company protocols.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Pilot aircraft for the transport of passengers and cargo.
  • Assist the Pilot in Command (PIC) and assume PIC responsibilities in the event of incapacitation.
  • Ensure the ongoing safety of all passengers, crew, cargo, and the aircraft.
  • Comply with all applicable aviation regulations, company policies, and Air Traffic Control (ATC) directives.
  • Execute duties as Pilot Flying (PF) or Pilot Monitoring (PM) during flight operations.
  • Review maintenance logs, flight plans, weather reports, NOTAMs, and Pilot Information Files (PIFs) prior to mission commencement.
  • Maintain current knowledge of FARs, AIM, FCOM, FCTM, QRH, SPM, and FOM documentation.
  • Calculate precise aircraft weight, balance, and takeoff/landing data.
  • Perform additional operational duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Current US DOT/FAA First Class Medical Certificate (with EKG if age 40 or older).
  • US DOT/FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with B737 Type rating and no restrictions.
  • Active US DOD TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Valid US DHS/TSA LAS airport badge.
  • Valid US Passport or official US Birth Certificate.
  • Current US state-issued driver's license.
  • Minimum of 1,500 total in-seat hours as a crewmember in fixed-wing powered aircraft.
  • Compliance with all US DOT 14 CFR requirements (Parts 60, 61, 67, 117, 120, and 121), including age 65 limits.
  • Must maintain training and checking currency as mandated by company policy and 14 CFR Part 121.

Work Environment and Demands

The role is primarily performed in a jet cockpit, a compact environment characterized by high noise, specific temperature ranges, and low humidity. Personnel may experience physical and mental stress due to in-flight emergencies, inclement weather, noise, vibration, and sensory demands. The work is largely sedentary but requires the ability to walk, bend, reach, climb, and manipulate controls while seated.

Compensation and Benefits

The hiring hourly rate for this position is $50.11. This role is subject to a union collective bargaining agreement (CBA).
