Overview

Solairus Aviation is seeking a full-time Phenom 300 Second-in-Command (SIC) to join an operation based at the KTYQ airport. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professional excellence and a commitment to safety, service, and integrity. This role requires a collaborative team player dedicated to meeting the travel needs of our clients while upholding the company's operational standards.

Essential Responsibilities

The SIC is responsible for the safe and prudent operation of the Phenom 300 aircraft, adhering to all Solairus Aviation policies and Federal Aviation Regulations. Key duties include:

• Reviewing aircraft maintenance status.
• Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections in accordance with the Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Performing comprehensive checks of weather, route facilities, and alternate airports.
• Ensuring the safety and security of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
• Accurately completing all required trip paperwork.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following flight time requirements:

• Total Time: 1,000 hours
• Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 500 hours
• Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours
• MEL PIC: 100 hours
• Turbo Jet Time: 100 hours
• Instrument Time: 75 hours

Specific Requirements and Certifications

• Type-rated on Phenom 300 or comparable aircraft.
• Possession of a current First Class Medical Certificate.
• Ability to work on an on-call basis.
• Requirement to complete ICAO International procedures training annually.
• Primary residence within a 2-hour drive of KTYQ, or a willingness to relocate.

Compensation

Solairus crewmember compensation ranges from $50,000 to $500,000, determined by geographic location, experience, equipment type, job duties, training, and the specific assigned account.
