About the Position

Aircraft: Lear Jet 31A

Role: First Officer (SIC) in a dual-pilot Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) crew

Operations: Airplane Air Ambulance (HAA)

Schedule: 24-hour operations with day/night rotation and a 7 on / 7 off schedule

Location: Base requires a one-hour commute
-
Service Requirement: A minimum one-year service requirement applies if aircraft transition is necessary; a two-year requirement applies if a relocation package is utilized.

ATP Airplane, Multi-Engine Land

First Class Medical Certificate

2,000 Total Airplane Hours

1,000 Hours as Pilot in Command (PIC)

500 hours as PIC in Multi-Engine Turbine Airplanes

100 Hours Night

Demonstrated strong communication, internal, and external customer service skills

Ability to pass pre-placement physical exam, including functional capacity exam (strength, flexibility, and ability to lift 100 pounds)

Ability to pass drug screening and background screen

COVID-19 Vaccination
-
Must meet and maintain the company's flight personnel weight restriction policy (235 lbs or less)

Participation in community outreach programs and adherence to PHI Air Medical policies

Support for Safety Management System and company safety campaigns
Qualifications

CAMTS Requirement for SIC
-
Preference will be given to pilots currently assigned to the Kansas City Children's Mercy Program

Interview and acceptance by customer/PHI management
-
Tuberculosis screening
-
Varicella (two Varivax vaccinations or positive titer)

MMR (two vaccinations or positive titers)
-
Tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis vaccine (if applicable)

Hepatitis B vaccination series history and positive titer (for staff with risk of exposure)

Annual flu vaccination (within the last 12 months)
