flyExclusive is seeking a Second in Command (SIC) to support safe and efficient flight operations. This role involves assisting the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in the operation of company aircraft, adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures, and ensuring a high level of customer service for domestic trip assignments conducted under Part 135 regulations. The position is based in the United States and requires 100% travel while on rotation.
About the Role
The Second in Command (SIC) plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft. Reporting administratively to the Chief Pilot and operationally to the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) during flight, the SIC directly contributes to domestic trip assignments under Part 135 regulations. Key responsibilities include adhering to company procedures, maintaining a current first-class medical certificate, and representing flyExclusive core values. The role involves customer interaction, including greeting passengers, assisting with seating and luggage, conducting passenger briefings, and responding to passenger needs. This is a safety-sensitive position subject to FAA drug and alcohol testing.
Requirements

Working knowledge of all Federal Aviation Regulations applicable to Part 135.

Thorough knowledge of FAA, ICAO, & other international flight operations regulations.

FAA First Class Medical.

At least 2,000 hours Total Time (Fixed Wing).

Ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS authorization for unrestricted travel to/from Canada as a commercial pilot.

Appropriate Type Rating.

Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States and provide two forms of Federal Identification.

Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, including verification of previous employment, education, criminal history, and other relevant information.
Qualifications

ATP Complete.

At least 2,500 hours of Total Time (Fixed Wing) (Preferred).

At least 500 hours of multi-engine time (Preferred).

Type rated in a Challenger or Regional Jet (Preferred).
