An airline is seeking a qualified Pilot to support the Captain in ensuring the safe and timely operation of aircraft and performing comprehensive aircraft management duties. This First Officer position is based at an unspecified location.
About the Role
The First Officer will play a critical role in flight operations, working collaboratively with the Captain to ensure all flights are conducted safely and in accordance with company policies, Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), and other applicable guidelines. Key responsibilities include flight planning, preflight inspections, aircraft operation, and contributing to efficient and reliable airline operations.
Requirements

High School diploma or GED.

Must meet the minimum requirements for an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Restricted Airline Transport Pilot (RATP) certificate.

ATP written exam completion is preferred.

Must meet current FAA and Company minimum age and flight hour requirements.

Possess a stable employment history.

Able to pass an FAA-required 10-year work history review, criminal background check, and fingerprint checks.

Possess and maintain a valid US passport or foreign passport.

Authorized by law to work in the United States and able to travel internationally.

Must submit to and be able to pass FAA and Company mandated drug and alcohol tests.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations, often under stressful conditions.

Effective communication skills for interacting with management, dispatch, crew, passengers, air traffic control, and the general public.

Ability to speak and be understood clearly in English, including during emergency situations.

Willingness and ability to work extended duty periods, varied schedules, including early mornings, nights, overnights, and weekends.
