Aviation company seeks a qualified First Officer (FO) to join its Flight Operations department. This role is based in the U.S. and involves assisting the Captain in safely operating the company aircraft in accordance with all Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies.
About the Role
The First Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. Responsibilities include performing pre-flight and post-flight inspections, assisting the crew with necessary documentation, operating the aircraft with precision, and identifying and reporting any unsafe conditions. The position emphasizes the use of Crew Resource Management (CRM) principles to support the Captain and enhance overall flight safety.
Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Ability to read, write, and understand spoken and written English.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

No restrictions on International Travel.

Legal to work in the U.S.

Ability to pass a 10-year security background check.

Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.

Ability to walk up or down stairs.

Ability to work in a confined area for long periods.

Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Qualifications

FAA Multi-Engine Airline Transport Certificate or Restricted Multi-Engine Airline Pilot Certificate.

Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate.

FCC Radio License.

Minimum of 1500 total flight hours.

Preferred: 2000+ hours of total time.

Preferred: 1500 turbine (jet) flight time.

Preferred: 1000 Pilot in Command (PIC) turbine (jet) flight time.

For Military applicants: Less than 2000 hours total time is acceptable, with flexible turbine and PIC requirements.

Previous FAR 121 experience is preferred but not required.
