About the Role
Ameriflight, LLC, the nation's largest Part 135 cargo airline, is seeking a Captain to operate the Beechcraft 1900 (BE-1900) aircraft. This full-time, outstation domiciled position is based in Klamath Falls, Oregon (LMT), with operations to PDX. The role involves evening flights Monday through Friday, returning the following morning, with a shared apartment layover in Portland, Oregon (PDX). The Captain will fly approximately 50 hours per month, with a starting annual salary of $87,006.

Requirements

Must meet FAR 135.243(c) requirements for Pilot in Command (PIC) in Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) conditions.

1,800 hours Total Time (TT).

1,000 hours PIC.

500 hours Cross Country (XC) experience.

250 hours multi-engine.

100 hours turbine time (multi-engine preferred).

100 hours instrument time (50 hours must be in an aircraft).

100 hours night flying.

Previous FAR 121/135 experience is required.

Instrument Proficiency Check or 121/135 recurrent check within the past 6 months.

Commercial Pilot License with multi-engine land and instrument ratings, along with high performance and complex endorsements.

First Class or Second Class Medical Certificate (First Class required for international operations).

Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.

Current Passport.

English proficiency.

Eligibility to work in the U.S. and unrestricted travel to and from the U.S.

Ability to meet airport badging requirements, including a TSA Security background check.

Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License and meet all company insurance criteria.
