Position Overview

Ameriflight, LLC, the nation's largest Part 135 cargo airline, is seeking a qualified Captain to operate the Beechcraft BE1900. Ameriflight provides scalable, outsourced aviation services for the regional express airfreight market, supporting major cargo integrators, manufacturers, and freight forwarders. The company operates a fleet of over 120 aircraft, including the Saab 340B, Embraer 120, Fairchild SA227, Beechcraft 1900, and Beechcraft 99.

The BE-1900 Captain role typically involves flights operating five days per week, departing in the morning and returning in the evening. Lodging is provided at the outstation, and schedules may vary based on base and flight requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must meet FAR 135.243(c) requirements for Pilot in Command (PIC) in IFR conditions.
  • Commercial Pilot License (Multi-Engine Land) with Instrument rating, and high-performance and complex endorsements.
  • Flight Hour Requirements: 1,800 Total Time (TT), 1,000 PIC, 500 hours cross-country (point-to-point), 250 multi-engine, 100 turbine, 100 hours instrument (50 in aircraft), and 100 hours night.
  • Previous FAR 121/135 experience required.
  • Instrument Proficiency Check or 121/135 recurrent training within the past 6 months.
  • First or Second Class Medical Certificate.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Current passport and English proficiency.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. and travel unrestricted internationally.
  • Ability to meet airport badging requirements, including a TSA Security background check.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment DOT drug screening and background checks.
  • Valid Driver’s License and ability to meet company insurance criteria.
