Job Title: First Officer - Beechcraft King Air 90
Position Summary:
The Texas Screwworm Eradication (TSE) First Officer reports directly to the Base Manager. This position is responsible for the safe and professional operation of Beechcraft King Air 90 aircraft, ensuring mission accomplishment through diligent flight and ground operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Execute all duties and responsibilities associated with the Second in Command (SIC).

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of destination and alternate airports, meteorological conditions, fuel and oil requirements, navigation/radio aids, and applicable NOTAMs.

Promote a robust aviation safety culture and ensure full compliance with the company’s Safety Management System.

Maintain transparent communication with the Base Manager regarding aircraft status, weather, customer requirements, or any issues impacting mission success.

Perform all assigned preflight, postflight, and reporting responsibilities proactively.

Operate and maintain fly dispersal equipment during and after flight operations.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

FAA Commercial Multi-Engine Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating.

Valid FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate.

Minimum of 250 hours total flight time.

Demonstrated ability to function as an effective team member in both ground and flight operations.

Highly motivated, teachable, and industrious work ethic.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in learning and utilizing computer software for timekeeping, record management, and travel/expense reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 500 hours total flight time.

Relevant college degree.

Fluency in Spanish.
Additional Requirements:

Must relocate to the Edinburg, TX area.

Physical ability to lift, balance, and carry up to 75 lbs.
