VIP Flight Attendant
A prominent Part 91 Flight Department seeks a dedicated and experienced VIP Flight Attendant to join its dynamic team in the Los Angeles, California area (Van Nuys, CA). Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional personal service to ensure the safety and comfort of aircraft passengers during flight.
- Greet passengers warmly and assist with their personal belongings.
- Clearly explain the use of safety equipment and serve food and beverages with impeccable presentation.
- Direct and assist passengers effectively in emergency situations.
- Verify the working order of first aid kits and emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers and oxygen bottles.
- Secure the cabin prior to take-off and landing, adhering to all federal regulations.
- Administer basic first aid to passengers in distress, including CPR, AED, and general first aid.
- Reassure passengers during turbulence or other unusual situations.
- Assist passengers with entering and disembarking the aircraft, paying special attention to the needs of children, the elderly, or disabled passengers.
- Conduct thorough preflight briefings.
- Ensure adequate supplies of food, beverages, blankets/bedding, reading materials, and emergency equipment are on board.
- Fulfill and manage VIP requests for food and beverages with meticulous attention to detail.
- Procure requested items for passengers and stock lockers.
- Prepare and present food for passengers and crew.
- Inspect, clean, and stock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight leg.
- Maintain the aircraft in a constant state of readiness, ensuring it is cleaned and fully stocked at all times.
- Complete all required preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork accurately.
- Conduct periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cleanliness.
- Operate audio and video systems effectively.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations is essential.
- Current First Aid Training Certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant is necessary.
- Flight attendant specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar program is preferred; annual recurrent training is mandatory. Candidates without formal training may be considered, but must complete an initial flight attendant training course prior to assignment. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are paramount.

- Culinary skills and specific culinary training are highly desirable.
- Ability to manage a constantly changing schedule and accommodate late-night flights is necessary.
- Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide is required (considering health and visa status).
- Proficiency in operating all features of Cabin Management Systems, galley equipment, and cabin features, including berthing seats and divan configurations, is essential.
