VIP Flight Attendant
Jet Aviation Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced VIP Flight Attendant to join a dynamic Part 91 Flight Department located in the Los Angeles, California area (Van Nuys, CA). Responsibilities:
The VIP Flight Attendant provides exceptional personal service, ensuring the safety and comfort of aircraft passengers during flight. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting passengers and assisting with personal belongings.
- Explaining the use of safety equipment and serving food and beverages with the highest level of presentation. Culinary training is preferred.
- Directing and assisting passengers in the event of an emergency.
- Verifying first aid kits and other emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers and oxygen bottles, are in working order.
- Securing the cabin, adhering to federal regulations before takeoff and landing.
- Administering basic first aid to passengers in distress (e.g., CPR, AED, First Aid).
- Reassuring passengers during situations such as turbulence.
- Assisting passengers while entering or disembarking the aircraft, determining special assistance needs for children, the elderly, or disabled passengers.
- Performing preflight briefings.
- Checking and ensuring adequate supplies of food, beverages, blankets/bedding, reading material, and emergency equipment are onboard for the trip and the number of passengers.
- Facilitating and managing VIP requests for food and drinks.
- Shopping for requested items and stocking lockers on the ground.
- Preparing food for passengers and crew.
- Inspecting, cleaning, and stocking the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight leg.
- Ensuring the aircraft is always prepared for flight, cleaned, and stocked.
- Completing preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
- Conducting periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cabin cleanliness.
- Operating audio and video systems.
- Operating all galley equipment and all cabin features (berthing seats, divan bed configuration).
- Operating all features of the Cabin Management Systems.
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- First Aid Training Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Flight attendant-specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar provider is preferred. Annual recurrent training is required. Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered but must attend an initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.
