VIP Flight Attendant
Jet Aviation Staffing, on behalf of its client, seeks a dedicated and experienced VIP Flight Attendant to join a dynamic Part 91 Flight Department located in the Los Angeles, California area (Van Nuys, CA). Responsibilities
The VIP Flight Attendant provides exceptional personal service to ensure passenger safety and comfort during flight. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting passengers and assisting with their personal belongings.
- Explaining the use of safety equipment and serving food and beverages with the highest level of presentation.
- Directing and assisting passengers in the event of an emergency.
- Verifying the functionality of first aid kits and emergency equipment, including fire extinguishers and oxygen bottles.
- Securing the cabin per federal regulations before takeoff and landing.
- Administering basic first aid to passengers in distress (e.g., CPR, AED).
- Reassuring passengers during turbulence.
- Assisting passengers when entering or disembarking the aircraft and determining special assistance needs.
- Performing preflight briefings.
- Ensuring adequate supplies of food, beverages, blankets/bedding, reading material, and emergency equipment.
- Facilitating and managing VIP passenger requests.
- Shopping for and stocking requested items.
- Preparing food for passengers and crew.
- Inspecting, cleaning, and stocking the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each leg.
- Ensuring the aircraft is consistently prepared for flight.
- Completing preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
- Conducting cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cleanliness.
- Operating audio and video systems.
Required Qualifications and Certifications
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- First Aid Training Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Flight attendant specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar is preferred; annual recurrent training is required. Candidates without formal training may be considered but must attend initial training prior to flight assignment. Preference will be given to candidates with training completed within the past 12 months.

- Proficiency in operating all cabin features, including berthing seats and converting the divan into a bed.
