Corporate Flight Attendant
Jet Aviation Staffing is seeking a highly professional and dedicated Corporate Flight Attendant to provide exceptional service and ensure the safety and comfort of passengers. This is an onsite position located in Dulles, Virginia. The successful candidate will join a team committed to excellence in aviation staffing, supporting the industry’s leading companies since 1983.
Responsibilities:
- Execute duties as directed by the pilot-in-command, prioritizing safety and passenger well-being.
- Provide emergency assistance and direction to passengers as needed.
- Administer first aid, CPR, and operate an AED to assist passengers and crew in distress.
- Conduct thorough pre-flight aircraft checks to ensure all safety, galley, and cabin equipment are flight-ready.
- Deliver passenger briefings that meet or exceed all FAA regulations.
- Adhere strictly to company checklists for pre and post-flight procedures.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, as outlined in the Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Standard Operating Procedures Manual (SOP), and other corporate manuals.
- Deliver superior in-flight service, catering to the needs and preferences of passengers.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the aircraft cabin and storage areas.
- Manage galley stores and cabin supplies effectively.
- Submit all required company paperwork, timesheets, and expense receipts promptly.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the flight operations team.
Education and Training Requirements:
- Formal Flight Attendant training from reputable institutions like FlightSafety or FACTs is strongly preferred.
- Candidates without formal training will be considered, contingent upon completing an initial flight attendant training course before assignment.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or equivalent training within the past 12 months.
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of a high school diploma is required.
- At least one year of prior experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant, or experience working as a Flight Attendant for a commercial airline is required.
Other Requirements and Preferences:
- Must be capable of lifting and moving up to 62 pounds to manage emergency equipment and passenger luggage.
- Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must be capable of standing for extended periods while performing duties.
- Must be capable of executing emergency evacuation protocols.
- Food handling and culinary training are preferred.
- In-flight medical training (CPR/AED/BBP) completed within the last 12 months is preferred.
- Must possess no restrictions on passport, VISA, or health that would hinder worldwide travel.
- Must be willing to work at the Flight Operations facility, Monday through Friday, and as needed on weekends, night shifts, and holidays.
- Must have an exceptional attention to detail.
- Must be technically proficient and capable of operating complex cabin systems.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the start date, unless medical or religious accommodations are needed.
- Must live within a commutable distance of the Flight Operations facility in Sterling, Virginia.
