Flight Attendant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Flight Attendant is responsible for maintaining cabin safety and delivering exemplary customer service in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies. Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring the safety, comfort, and security of all passengers and the aircraft.

Conducting safety demonstrations, public announcements, and providing clear passenger instructions.

Responding effectively to in-flight emergencies, including implementing flight deck instructions, guiding evacuations, and providing emergency medical assistance.

Preparing and serving meals, snacks, and beverages.

Assisting passengers with luggage stowage and providing attentive support to those requiring extra assistance.

Maintaining the cleanliness and order of the cabin, galley, and lavatories.

Completing accurate documentation, paperwork, and incident reports.

Operating and securing aircraft doors (up to 60 lbs) and managing galley/cabin equipment.

Performing physical tasks, including walking, bending, reaching above shoulder height, and lifting/pushing/pulling up to 75 lbs (with or without accommodation).
Qualifications

Minimum age: 23 years.

High school diploma or GED.

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and a valid passport.

Authorized to work in the United States with the ability to travel internationally.

Fluent in English (bilingual skills preferred).

Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen, ongoing random testing, a 10-year background check, criminal history review, fingerprinting, and reference checks.

Successful completion of the Contour four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program.

Ability to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and duty periods up to 16 hours.

Must reside within one hour of the assigned domicile.

Demonstrated strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
Contour offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees, including:

Salary:
Starting annual salary of $34,000.00, progressing to a maximum of $42,500.00. A retention bonus of up to $2,000.00 per year is available once the maximum salary is reached.

Health, vision, and dental insurance, plus short/long-term disability and voluntary life insurance (effective the first of the month following hire).

Savings plan with company match up to 6% of eligible compensation.

Paid Time Off:
Accrual of up to 56 hours of paid sick leave annually (up to 480-hour bank) and vested vacation hours provided on January 1st following the hire date.

Travel Privileges:
NRSA travel privileges on Contour upon hire and access to MyID Travel after 6 months of service.

Eligibility for medical, family care, maternity/paternity, and personal leave.
