Corporate Flight Attendant
Jet Aviation Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Corporate Flight Attendant to join a high-performing aviation team. Location: Dulles, VA (Onsite)
Responsibilities:
The Corporate Flight Attendant performs duties as assigned by the pilot-in-command, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers. Primary responsibilities include:
- Directing and providing emergency assistance to passengers as needed.
- Administering basic first aid, CPR, and AED to passengers and crew in distress.
- Conducting aircraft pre-flight procedures, ensuring all safety, galley, and cabin equipment are prepared for flight.
- Ensuring passenger briefings meet or exceed FAA regulations.
- Following company checklists for aircraft pre/post flight procedures.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures outlined in the Flight Operations Manual (FOM), Standard Operating Procedures Manual (SOP), and all Corporate policy manuals.
- Providing exceptional in-flight service.
- Cleaning and preparing the aircraft cabin and all storage bins.
- Maintaining galley stores and cabin supplies.
- Submitting all required company paperwork, timesheets, and receipts in a timely manner.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Education & Training Requirements:
- Flight Attendant specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar recognized provider is preferred.
- Candidates without formal Flight Attendant training will be considered based on other qualifications; however, they must complete an initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.
Experience Requirements:
- A high school diploma is required.
- A minimum of one year of previous Corporate Flight Attendant experience, or experience as a Flight Attendant for an airline or commercial carrier, is required.
Other Requirements/Preferences:
- Must be able to lift and move up to 62 pounds to:
- Remove emergency exit window.
- Bring passenger baggage into the aircraft via the baggage door.
- Launch a life raft in emergency situations.
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods while performing flight attendant duties.
- Must be able to perform emergency evacuation procedures when required.
- Food Handling and Culinary Training is preferred.
- In-Flight medical training (CPR/AED/BBP) within the past 12 months is preferred.
- Must have no restrictions on Passport, VISA, or overall health for worldwide travel.
- Must be willing to work at the Flight Operations facility Monday through Friday, and as needed, on weekends, night shifts, and holidays.
- Must possess a high level of attention to detail.
- Must be technically savvy and capable of operating complex cabin systems.
- Must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated by the start date, unless medical or religious exceptions apply.
- Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the Flight Operations facility in Sterling, Virginia.
