VIP Flight Attendant
A dynamic Part 91 Flight Department in the Los Angeles, California area seeks a full-time VIP Flight Attendant. Responsibilities:
- Provides an exceptional level of personal service to ensure the safety and comfort of aircraft passengers during flight.
- Greets passengers and assists with their personal belongings.
- Explains the use of safety equipment, and serves food and beverages with the highest level of presentation.
- Directs and assists passengers in the event of an emergency.
- Verifies that first aid kits and other emergency equipment are in working order.
- Secures the cabin, adhering to federal regulations prior to take-off and landing.
- Administers basic first aid to passengers in distress, including CPR, AED, and First Aid.
- Reassures passengers during situations such as turbulence.
- Assists passengers while entering or disembarking the aircraft and determines special assistance needs.
- Performs preflight briefings.
- Ensures adequate food, beverages, blankets/bedding, reading material, and emergency equipment are on board.
- Facilitates and manages passenger's VIP requests for food and drinks.
- Procures specially requested items for passengers and stocks lockers on the ground.
- Prepares food for passengers and crew.
- Inspects, cleans, and stocks the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each leg.
- Ensures the aircraft is consistently prepared for flight, cleaned and stocked.
- Completes preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
- Conducts periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cabin cleanliness.
- Operates audio and video systems.
Required Qualifications and Certifications:
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- First Aid Training Certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
- Flight attendant specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar is preferred. Annual recurrent training is required. Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered but must attend initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment. Preference is shown to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.
