VIP Flight Attendant - Los Angeles, California
Jet Aviation Staffing, a leader in aviation staffing since 1983, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced VIP Flight Attendant to join a dynamic Part 91 Flight Department in the Los Angeles, California area. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional personal services to ensure the safety and comfort of aircraft passengers during flight.
- Greet passengers, assist with personal belongings, and explain the use of safety equipment.
- Deliver food and beverages with the utmost presentation and service standards.
- Direct and assist passengers in emergency situations.
- Verify the functionality of first aid kits, emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, oxygen bottles), and secure the cabin according to federal regulations prior to takeoff and landing.
- Administer basic first aid (CPR, AED, First Aid) to passengers in distress.
- Reassure passengers during situations such as turbulence.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the aircraft, identifying special assistance needs for children, the elderly, or disabled passengers.
- Conduct preflight briefings.
- Ensure adequate supplies of food, beverages, blankets/bedding, reading material, emergency equipment, and other amenities are on board for the trip and passenger count.
- Facilitate and manage VIP passenger requests for food and drinks.
- Shop for any items specially requested by passengers for their flight and stock ground lockers.
- Prepare and serve food for passengers and crew.
- Inspect, clean, and stock the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after every leg.
- Ensure the aircraft is always prepared for flight: cleaned and stocked.
- Complete preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork.
- Conduct periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cabin cleanliness.
- Operate audio and video systems.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant with a minimum of 5 years.
- Culinary training preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- First Aid Training Certification.
- Flight attendant specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar is preferred. Annual recurrent training is required.
- Candidates without formal flight attendant training may be considered based on other qualifications, but must attend an initial flight attendant training course prior to flight assignment.
- Preference is given to candidates who have completed FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar training within the past 12 months.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Technologically savvy.
- Flexibility and patience are essential.
- Culinary skills and Culinary specific training are preferred.
- Ability to manage a constantly changing schedule and late-night flights.
- Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide (considering health and visa status).
- Ability to operate all features of the Cabin Management Systems, galley equipment, and cabin features, including berthing seats and configuring the divan into a bed.
