Responsibilities:
The VIP Flight Attendant is responsible for providing an exceptional level of personal service to ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers throughout each flight. This includes:
- Passenger Care:
- Greeting passengers and assisting with personal belongings
- Explaining safety equipment usage
- Providing a high level of service in all passenger interactions
- Attending to the specific needs of children, the elderly, and passengers with disabilities
- Administering basic first aid, including CPR and AED usage, when necessary
- Reassuring passengers during challenging situations like turbulence
- Managing and fulfilling VIP passenger requests
- Culinary Expertise:
- Preparing and presenting food and beverages to the highest standard
- Managing onboard provisions, including shopping for specific passenger requests
- Maintaining a clean and organized galley space
- Safety and Compliance:
- Conducting preflight safety briefings
- Verifying the functionality of safety equipment, including first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and oxygen bottles
- Securing the cabin according to federal regulations before takeoff and landing
- Aircraft Preparation and Maintenance:
- Ensuring the aircraft is always flight-ready, maintaining cleanliness and appropriate stocking levels
- Inspecting, cleaning, and stocking the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each flight leg
- Operating all cabin features, including seating adjustments and bed configurations
- Managing and operating galley equipment
- Operational Support:
- Completing preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork
- Operating audio and video systems
- Conducting periodic cabin checks to ensure passenger comfort and maintain cleanliness
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate possesses a unique blend of skills and experience, including:
- Aviation Experience:
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
- Preference for candidates with recent (within 12 months) flight attendant specific training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar program
- Safety and First Aid:
- Current First Aid Training Certification
- Proficiency in CPR and AED usage
- Client Service and Interpersonal Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a dedication to delivering superior client experiences
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Technical Proficiency:
- Ability to operate Cabin Management Systems
