Position Summary: Corporate Flight Attendant

Hill Air is seeking an energetic and experienced Corporate Flight Attendant to join its Corporate Flight Department, located at Love Field in Dallas, TX. The primary responsibilities encompass ensuring passenger safety and comfort. This role also involves regularly ordering in-flight catering for both crewing flights and others, as well as preparing and serving in-flight meals. The position requires round-the-clock availability, exceptional interpersonal communication and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality. The ideal candidate is motivated, conscientious, decisive, and capable of making critical decisions promptly.

Key Responsibilities

General Duties:

  • Maintain 24/7 on-demand availability to accommodate trip scheduling, catering adjustments, and urgent requests.
  • Update databases (e.g., Dropbox) with passenger and crew preferences, catering providers, and stock inventories.
  • Ensure absolute confidentiality regarding passenger identities and maintain exemplary professionalism.

In-Flight Operations:

  • Proactively anticipate passenger needs to deliver an elite onboard experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight safety checks and brief passengers on all safety procedures.
  • Perform periodic cabin checks during flight to ensure optimal passenger comfort and safety, responding promptly to all requests or concerns.
  • Maintain cabin cleanliness and ensure continuous restocking of supplies during flight.
  • Operate all features of Cabin Management systems, audio/visual systems, and galley equipment proficiently.
  • Strictly adhere to all aviation regulations and company safety procedures throughout all flight phases.
  • Provide emergency response and assistance as required, including administering first aid if necessary.

Procurement and Stock Management:

  • Ensure the aircraft cabin is impeccably outfitted with necessary linens, china, crystal, and flatware, and manage special outfitting projects.
  • Execute spot treatments and manage the laundering and dry cleaning of aircraft linens and towels.
  • Monitor inventory levels within aircraft and stock rooms, implementing stock rotation and removing expired items.

Catering Management:

  • Assist in creating customized menus for trips, considering flight duration, passenger count, and preferences, securing approval from Principals' administrators.
  • Develop and maintain robust global relationships with catering providers to ensure consistent and reliable service.
  • Facilitate the coordination of international catering logistics, adeptly navigating language and cultural barriers, packaging requirements, and ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
  • Prepare and print personalized menus for VIP and international trips.
  • Assist with the ordering, procurement, and billing reconciliation for all catering and stock supplies, emphasizing cost-effectiveness and freshness.
  • Proactively solicit catering feedback from crew members and conduct post-trip quality checks.
  • Strategically manage packaging and refrigeration standards for all catering items.
  • Stay abreast of current culinary trends to enhance onboard service offerings.

  • Comfort and capability in working with animals and around various allergens and products.
  • Ability to process information rapidly and respond positively during unexpected or serious situations.
  • Requirement to remain calm, think clearly, and react quickly in all types of emergency scenarios.
  • Willingness to work in a time-sensitive environment with a self-reliant approach, effectively managing stress associated with deadlines and unexpected changes.
  • Must possess a valid U.S. passport or a foreign passport with work authorization.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to travel internationally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word, Pages/Numbers, PowerPoint/Keynote, and database management software.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma is required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience serving as a Corporate Flight Attendant.
  • Experience assisting in catering management and inventory control is preferred.
  • Familiarity with emergency response procedures and customer service excellence standards is required.
  • Experience working within a highly professional and confidential environment is mandatory.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be physically capable of performing all required duties, including lifting and operating emergency equipment.
  • Must be able to move freely and effectively throughout the aircraft, performing all required functions quickly within confined spaces.
