Flight Instructor
The Flight Instructor provides exceptional customer service to current and prospective students. He or she collaborates closely with fellow flight instructors, maintenance technicians, safety personnel, dispatch personnel, and line service staff.
Qualifications:
- FAA Certified Flight Instructor rating, Flight Instructor-Instrument (CFII) required.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a second class medical certificate.
- Successful completion of FAA Part 141 Proficiency Check.
- Completion of Special Federal Aviation Regulation 73 (b)(5) training with endorsement.
- Completion of the Robinson Helicopter Safety Course or demonstrate the ability to complete the course prior to employment.
- Proficient aircraft piloting skills, including familiarity with and the ability to perform required flight maneuvers and procedures according to FAA Practical Test Standards.
- Knowledge of and the ability to apply effective instructional techniques in both classroom and flight environments.
- Knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced environment and deliver superior customer service.
- Demonstrates and exercises sound judgment.
