Flight Attendant
Hendrick Motorsports, located in Charlotte, North Carolina, seeks a dedicated Flight Attendant to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers. Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the Flight Attendant will verify cabin emergency equipment, demonstrate aircraft safety features, verify passenger identification, coordinate catering, and strive to deliver a positive in-flight experience.
Responsibilities:
The Flight Attendant will represent Hendrick Motorsports with a commitment to safety, compliance, and professionalism. They will maintain a personal appearance that reflects positively on the company. This individual will adhere to established policies, procedures, guidelines, practices, and regulatory requirements, keeping manuals updated and following instructions from the Pilot-in-Command. The Flight Attendant will manage passenger manifests, report any suspected security risks, and oversee passenger boarding and deplaning. They will maintain proficiency with cabin safety equipment, operate it per procedures, and deliver exemplary passenger service. Additional responsibilities include managing catering and maintaining commissary supplies, reporting operational concerns to the pilot-in-command, achieving passenger compliance with crew instructions, and directing passengers to safety during an evacuation.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required, while a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Candidates must possess at least two years of experience in a relevant role, along with current CPR/First Aid certification. The successful candidate will exhibit excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, interpret, and convey service and emergency instructions. They must be capable of lifting 30 pounds and maintain a respectful and professional demeanor. This role requires accountability, a friendly and customer-oriented approach, strong interpersonal skills, patience, and meticulous attention to detail. Furthermore, reliability, safety awareness, adaptability, the capacity to work under pressure, accuracy, and effective oral communication skills are essential for success.
