Flight Attendant
Global Crossing Airlines (GlobalX) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Flight Attendant to elevate the customer service experience onboard its flights. The ideal candidate is hardworking, willing to lead, and possesses a sense of adventure.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully completes the five-week initial new hire training program.
- Fulfills directives from the lead flight attendant.
- Provides professional and efficient service to all customers.
- Represents the GlobalX Airlines brand with integrity and professionalism.
- Meets and maintains company standards for attendance, personal grooming, and appearance while in uniform or on company property.
- Attends preflight briefings and conducts preflight checks, including emergency equipment, aircraft supplies, catering, and general aircraft condition.
- Adapts to perform various duties effectively under stress.
- Explains and demonstrates the use of safety equipment and procedures, enforcing all safety regulations.
- Prepares the aircraft for passengers, greets passengers, verifies boarding passes and seat assignments, assists with carry-on baggage stowage and security, and prepares and serves meals and beverages.
- Maintains an uncompromising dedication to safety while providing a high level of customer service.
- Remains available and ready to work when on a reserve schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- May be required to travel away from base for extended periods.
- Maintains a positive attitude while on duty.
- Performs other duties related to safety and compliance as required.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a valid passport for international travel.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's and/or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Willingness to relocate or commute as needed.
- No visible tattoos or facial piercings while in uniform.
- Ability to pass a ten-year background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to swim.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, climb, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to reach overhead bin compartments and perform inflight duties.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the role, including reaching storage compartments and securing cabin equipment.
- Ability to fit safely and comfortably in the jump seat.
- Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
Travel:
This position requires extensive travel, including weekends and holidays. Overnight travel is expected.
