Flight Attendant
Frontier Airlines is seeking a dedicated and professional Flight Attendant to ensure the safety, security, and comfort of passengers onboard our aircraft. This individual will be a key member of the inflight team, providing exceptional customer service and addressing passenger needs while adhering to all FAA and Frontier Airlines regulations. Responsibilities:
The Flight Attendant will be responsible for:
- Adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations and Frontier Airlines policies and procedures.
- Managing and directing emergency evacuations of the cabin, when necessary.
- Conducting preflight safety checks of cabin emergency equipment.
- Ensuring proper storage of carry-on luggage.
- Maintaining cabin safety and security during all phases of flight.
- Preparing and securing doors and making passenger announcements.
- Instructing passengers on onboard safety features.
- Preparing the galley and managing onboard supplies and sales of beverages and snacks.
- Providing emergency medical assistance, including CPR and first aid.
- Maintaining a positive attitude and composure at all times.
- Performing physical tasks including walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Maintaining a professional appearance in compliance with uniform and appearance guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum age of 20 years for the interview process.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
- Valid passport required, with the ability to travel internationally.
- Must be willing to relocate to the assigned base location.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
- Must be willing to travel for extended periods and adapt to schedule changes on short notice.
- Must be willing to fly international and domestic routes.
- Must adhere to strict uniform and appearance guidelines. Tattoos must not be visible, makeup may be used to cover tattoos that are primarily covered by uniform (excluding hands, or anywhere above the collarbone)
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 60 pounds frequently, and manage heavy lifting, pushing and/or pulling objects.
- Ability to sit in and be secured with seatbelt and shoulder harness in all jump seats without a seat belt extension.
- Ability to meet visual and hearing standards for safety operations.
- Must be compliant with DOT/FAA regulations regarding drug and alcohol.
Equipment Operated:
The Flight Attendant will operate equipment including beverage/snack carts, galley equipment, POS devices, flight stairs, aircraft cabin equipment, and emergency equipment.
Work Environment:
The work environment may subject the employee to varying climate conditions, air turbulence, variable hours, dry air, noise, confined spaces. The work is typically fast-paced and physically demanding, with shifts that may include days, weekends, evenings, red-eyes, and holidays.
Physical Effort:
This position requires frequent repetitive motions, bending, standing for long periods, and the ability to push/pull/move a galley cart weighing 100lbs, as well as lifting luggage weighing up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50lbs. Additionally, the candidate must have 20/20 vision (or sufficient) and adequate hearing to meet position requirements. The ability to operate door and window exits in manual and emergency modes.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is an hourly position with a rate of $25.50 per hour.
