Flight Attendant
Freight Runners Express / Air Charter Express (FRE/ACE), a Part 135 air carrier operating from Milwaukee for over 40 years, is seeking both entry-level and experienced Part 135 Flight Attendants for full-time employment. This role is essential to ensuring the safety, comfort, and security of passengers aboard the SAAB 2000 aircraft. Key Responsibilities
A Flight Attendant performs a variety of duties critical to flight operations and passenger experience, including:
- Stocking, cleaning, and performing pre-flight and post-flight internal safety inspections of the aircraft cabin.
- Assisting with passenger baggage loading.
- Conducting safety demonstrations and delivering public address announcements regarding emergency procedures, equipment location (exits, flotation devices, oxygen, seat belts).
- Ensuring all cabin items, including doors, carts, and galley modules, are securely stowed.
- Providing in-flight service, including the distribution of snacks, drinks, and food.
- Managing inventory of in-flight service items at the conclusion of flights.
- Advising passengers of and enforcing safety instructions.
- Performing specific duties as required in emergency situations.
- The role frequently requires overnight travel and daily trips can range from 4 to 14 hours.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates for the Flight Attendant position must meet the following criteria:
- Previous Part 135, 121, or 91 flight attendant experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must possess a valid US passport at the time of application, without exception.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and capable of unrestricted international travel.
- Maximum height restriction of 5'9" due to cabin height limitations.
- Possession of a mobile phone is required.
- Must have dependable personal transportation.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including holidays, weekends, and nights, often with minimal advance notice.
- Must maintain a professional appearance and possess excellent personal grooming standards to consistently project a positive company image.
- Ability to sit and/or stand inside an aircraft cabin for periods of up to 4 hours or longer.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to precisely follow directions and procedures to ensure passenger safety and comfort.
- Capability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to quickly memorize and recall large amounts of information.
- Must not have visible tattoos or facial piercings.
- Must be proficient in reading, speaking, and understanding English.
- Successful completion of a 10-year background check, FBI fingerprint check, and adherence to FAA/DOT pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing is required.
- Must not have been convicted of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (OWI/DUI) within the past 10 years.
- Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Milwaukee area (within a 30-minute drive of General Mitchell International Airport).

Compensation and Benefits
- First-year average compensation, including extra pay and per-diem: Approximately $58,000.
- Base Salary: $46,200.
- Per Diem: $2.83 per hour (domestic) and $5.50 per hour (international) for time away from base.
- Additional compensation based on nautical miles flown.
