Aviation Training Captain & Simulator Instructor
The organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Training Captain and Simulator Instructor to join its professional team. This crucial role involves the delivery of comprehensive, world-class instruction, ensuring that all client-pilots achieve the highest standards of operational proficiency and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
The Training Captain is entrusted with the following principal duties:
- Executing advanced pilot ground instruction and high-fidelity simulator training for a diverse client base receiving core, specialty, or enrichment training courses.
- Actively developing, preparing, and refining instructional materials to support effective training delivery.
- Ensuring that all training provided aligns meticulously with the applicable curriculum and successfully meets the specific operational needs of the client.
Required Qualifications and Regulatory Compliance
Candidates must demonstrate complete compliance with all regulatory requirements and possess the following credentials:
- Pilot Certification
- The applicant must hold an unrestricted FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, or an equivalent Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) issued by an ICAO member state.
- Regulatory Standards (If no ATP is held)
- If the candidate does not currently possess an ATP, they must meet the stringent experience and knowledge requirements defined in:
- 14 CFR part 61.153 (Aeronautical experience requirements).
- 14 CFR part 61.64 without a Supervised Operating Experience (SOE) limitation.
- Drug & Alcohol Testing
- The professional must be fully able and willing to participate in the company’s mandatory U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Drug and Alcohol testing program.
