The Opportunity:
The Flight Instructor plays a critical role in shaping the future of aviation by delivering exceptional ground and simulator flight instruction. This role demands a strong understanding of aviation regulations and a passion for imparting knowledge to the next generation of skilled aviators.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging and informative ground and simulator training sessions for clients participating in core, specialty, and enrichment courses.
- Design and develop comprehensive training materials that meet the specific needs of each client and adhere to the established curriculum.
- Evaluate trainee progress meticulously and provide constructive feedback, recommending qualification or additional training as necessary.
- Maintain accurate and detailed training records for each client to ensure their successful completion of training objectives.
- Proactively identify potential training issues and seek timely assistance from senior instructors or management.
- Remain current on all Instructor qualifications and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must be eligible to participate in FlightSafety's DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program.
- Possession of an unrestricted ATP certificate or an equivalent ICAO member state Airline Transport Pilot License.
- Candidates without an ATP certificate must meet the requirements outlined in 14 CFR part 61.153 and 14 CFR part 61.64 without a Supervised Operating Experience (SOE) limitation.
- Minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating.
- Preferred: Prior experience in FAR Part 135, FAR Part 121, or military training environments.
- Preferred: A minimum of 2,500 hours of total flight time.

Compensation and Benefits:
FlightSafety International offers a competitive salary range of $89,125 - $151,800 commensurate with experience and qualifications. We are proud to provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
