About the Opportunity
As a Flight Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aviation by delivering exceptional ground and simulator-based flight instruction. Upholding FlightSafety's renowned training principles and adhering to stringent aviation regulations, you will guide pilots towards achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engaging and effective ground and simulator instruction to clients participating in core, specialty, and enrichment training courses.
- Develop and refine training materials to align with specific client needs and curriculum objectives.
- Evaluate trainee performance, provide constructive feedback, and recommend appropriate qualification pathways or additional training.
- Maintain meticulous training records for each client, ensuring accuracy and supporting their successful completion of training goals.
- Proactively identify and address any client training challenges, seeking assistance and solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain all required Instructor qualifications in accordance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Unrestricted ATP certificate or an ICAO member state Airline Transport Pilot License. Candidates without an ATP certificate must meet the requirements of 14 CFR part 61.153 and 14 CFR part 61.64 (without a Supervised Operating Experience limitation).
- Minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating.
- Willingness to participate in FlightSafety's DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with FAR Part 135, FAR Part 121, or military training environments.
- Minimum of 2,500 hours of total flight time.
Essential Skills & Attributes:
- Comprehensive knowledge of aviation safety standards, practices, and common regulations.
- Proven ability to manage classes and deliver instruction in an engaging and effective manner.
- Strong facilitation and customer service skills.
- Receptiveness to coaching and feedback, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development.
Compensation and Benefits:
FlightSafety International offers a competitive salary range of $85,250.00 - $145,200.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
