Flight Attendant Position at NetJets Aviation, Inc.
NetJets Aviation, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Flight Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service and a commitment to safety, ensuring a superior air transportation experience for every NetJets Owner and passenger.
Purpose of the Position
As a Flight Attendant, you will be the face of NetJets Large Cabin, responsible for delivering a seamless and personalized inflight experience. Your responsibilities extend beyond traditional flight attendant duties, encompassing concierge-level service, encompassing roles such as inflight chef, safety professional, and customer liaison. You will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor at all times, ensuring a consistently positive and memorable experience for all passengers.
Key Responsibilities
- Safety First: Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers in accordance with the Flight Attendant Manual (FAM), Service Procedures Checklist, and Standard Operating Procedures. Conduct thorough pre-flight cabin checks, provide safety briefings, and maintain a deep understanding of all onboard safety, entertainment, and comfort features.
- Exceptional Service: Provide a range of inflight services including catering preparation and service, bed making, and fulfilling detailed owner notes and profiles. Handle alcohol service responsibly and ensure all cabin baggage is properly stowed.
- Customer Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for Owners and passengers, from their arrival at the FBO until their safe departure. Communicate effectively with the Pilot in Command regarding any cabin maintenance issues or discrepancies.
- Administration: Complete all required paperwork, including inventory management, passdowns, and crew reports.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with the crew, ensuring compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with a focus on hospitality, customer service, business or culinary skills.
- 2-4 years of related experience in customer service, culinary, service industry, aviation, or other relevant fields.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in personal computing, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Must be twenty-one years of age.
- Must meet specific body size requirements for aircraft dimensions.
- Must be able to work varying hours, including day and night shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be extremely flexible and adaptable to rapid changes.
- Must be able to manage personal rest to be prepared for flight duty during their tour.
- Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges.
- Must pass Transportation Security Administration (TSA) required background screening.
- Must possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Must have a valid State driver's license.
- Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
- Must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and demonstrate a positive and approachable demeanor, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Must demonstrate the ability to make quick and accurate decisions while paying close attention to detail, both technically and from a passenger-service perspective.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds occasionally, up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
- Must be comfortable working around animals and be able to handle and care for pets before, during, and after flights.
- Must be able to conduct flights for Owners who smoke.
- Must maintain Flight Attendant Certification and comply with all FAA requirements post-hire.
- Must meet and successfully complete the NetJets Part 135 Flight Attendant Training Program.
