Lead Pilot in Command - Global 6000V

Executive Jet Management, a Berkshire Hathaway company and a pioneer in aircraft management since 1977, seeks a qualified Lead Pilot in Command (PIC) for a Global 6000V aircraft based in Bradley, CT (KBDL). The Lead Pilot in Command serves as a peer leader within a designated flight department, focusing on effective crew resource management, client service, and the completion of flight department administrative duties. The Lead PIC actively participates in the flying schedule and adheres to all Pilot in Command duties and expectations. This is a 6-pilot account supported by a Maintenance Technician and Cabin Attendant, operating under Part 91.

Responsibilities:

• Leads Flight Department Success: Manages client relationships, proactively communicates to address issues and opportunities, collaborates with maintenance personnel, completes owner/account duties, supports crew members, and handles administrative matters.
• Ensures Safe Operation of Flight: Ensures crewing compliance, completes flight planning, utilizes TPC briefing methodology, complies with SOPs, completes pre-flight tasks, monitors aircraft servicing, delivers passenger briefings, and utilizes CRM/TEM.
• Delivers Exceptional Service Experience: Provides quality service to owners and passengers, identifies service enhancements, and collaborates with crew and internal partners.
• Maintains Proficiency and Compliance: Maintains required training and recency, complies with the SMS program, ensures crewmember qualifications, and ensures policy compliance.

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience.
• Prior experience in corporate/business aviation preferred.
• FAA Type rating in applicable fleet.
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions.
• Extensive international experience and global vision experience required.
• Must live within a two-hour drive of Bradley International Airport (BDL).
• Flexibility to work within a dynamic schedule, flying approximately 400 hours annually.

Minimum Time Requirements:

• Total flight time: 3500 hours
• Multi Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
• Pilot in Command: 2000 hours
• PIC MEL: 500 hours
• Instrument: 300 hours
• Jet: 500 hours

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $117,000 - $438,500.
