Position Summary

Executive Jet Management is actively seeking highly qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) candidates for a Global 6000 aircraft. This esteemed position is based in Broomfield, Colorado (KBJC). The role is part of a dedicated three-pilot account, further supported by an on-site Maintenance Technician, operating under both Part 91 and Part 135 regulations. The aircraft is anticipated to log approximately 500 flight hours per year.

The Pilot in Command holds ultimate responsibility for ensuring the aircraft is operated in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner. The PIC is expected to adhere rigorously to all company and regulatory requirements while consistently delivering an exceptional service experience to passengers.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring Safe Flight Operations:

  • Ensures all crewing and trip assignments strictly comply with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Completes comprehensive flight planning, performance calculations, and weight and balance tasks for each assignment.
  • Utilizes Threats, Plans, and Considerations (TPC) briefing methodology to lead essential briefings and effectively mitigate operational risks.
  • Adheres to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and coordinates proactively with company personnel as required. Serves as the Grounds Security and In-Flight Security Coordinator in accordance with company policy.
  • Performs all aircraft pre-flight tasks, including thorough verification of the aircraft's maintenance status, to ensure mission readiness. Accurately records all aircraft discrepancies following company SOPs.
  • Monitors and ensures the accomplishment of all aircraft ground servicing items, such as fueling, oil, and oxygen, in accordance with SOPs.
  • Conducts comprehensive passenger briefings as per company policy and regulations. Delivers the highest standard of customer service and accommodates any special needs of passengers, including those who are physically challenged.
  • Applies Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles to facilitate clear and timely communication with crew and support personnel during normal, abnormal, and emergency operations.

Delivering an Exceptional Service Experience:

  • Provides exemplary service to aircraft owners and passengers, actively identifying opportunities to enhance the EJM service experience. Promptly investigates and resolves any service deviations.
  • Collaborates effectively with fellow crew members and EJM internal partners to ensure a consistent and superior service experience for owners and passengers. Manages conflict and challenges professionally and acceptably.

Maintaining Proficiency and Compliance:

  • Maintains all regulatory and company-required training, qualifications, and recency of experience.
  • Complies fully with the company's Safety Management System (SMS) program and reports any safety or non-compliance concerns through the appropriate designated channels.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Demonstrated prior experience operating under Part 135 regulations.
  • An FAA Type rating in the Global 6000 aircraft is strongly preferred.
  • Must possess the physical and mental capacity to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Denver, Colorado area (within a two-hour driving distance of Broomfield, CO).
  • Minimum Flight Time Requirements:
    • Total Flight Time: 3500 hours
    • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1500 hours
    • Pilot in Command (PIC): 2000 hours
    • PIC Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 500 hours
    • Instrument: 300 hours
    • Jet: 500 hours

Base Salary Range

For this Large/Heavy/Premium Cabin aircraft position, the competitive base salary range is $270,000 - $310,000.
