Pilot Instructor - Etihad Airways
The Pilot Instructor serves as a role model within Etihad Airways, responsible for the comprehensive training and development of pilots' core competencies. This encompasses the cultivation of knowledge, skills, and a robust attitude, fostering resilience within the individual.
The Pilot Instructor is authorized to conduct training in accordance with the GCAA CAR-FCL and CAR-AIR OPS regulations, as well as Etihad Airways Operations Manual Part D.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrating exemplary instructor competencies and upholding the highest standards.
- Delivering high-quality training to pilots employed by Etihad Airways.
- Serving as a positive role model for all personnel.
- Providing constructive feedback on the training system and individual courses.
- Recognizing and developing the potential and skills of pilots.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of three years of experience as an Instructor/Examiner.
- Accumulated 1,000 hours of flight simulator training (FSTD).
- 1,000 hours of Line-Indoctrination Flight Utilization System (LIFUS)/Initial Operating Experience (IOE).
- A strong foundation in technical knowledge.
- Prior experience with Modular Pilot License (MPL) Training, Evidence-Based Training (EBT), and/or Advanced Qualification Program (AQP)/Ab Initio Training Qualification Program (ATQP) is considered an advantage.
