A320 Type-Rated Pilot - Fly Jinnah
Fly Jinnah, Pakistan’s newest airline, is seeking experienced A320 Type-rated Pilots for a fixed-term contract. This opportunity is exclusively available to eligible foreign nationals.
The contract is for a 15-month fixed period, renewable upon mutual agreement. It includes approximately 3 months of initial training, followed by 12 months of flying duties.
Responsibilities:
The pilot conducts assigned flights in accordance with the Airline Operational Manual and civil aviation authority regulations. They ensure safety, security, and efficiency throughout all flights, support and guide the flight/cabin crew, manage emergencies effectively, and maintain a positive corporate image. The pilot consults with relevant departments on non-routine or critical actions, adhering to adopted policies and procedures.
The pilot flies the assigned aircraft according to schedules and flight plans, acting as the ultimate responsible party during flights. They ensure assigned flights are conducted in accordance with the Airline’s Operations Manual. They implement and maintain procedures for safe and smooth aircraft operation, ensure timely attendance, grooming, fitness, and legality of self and Flight Crew. Pre-flight briefings are conducted to ensure team awareness of flight details. The pilot liaises with co-pilots and the Dispatch Team, providing necessary information including aircraft technical status, route preferences, weather, fuel, and weight distribution. The pilot ensures efficient fuel usage within safety constraints and oversees safety, security, fuel, and transit checks. The pilot takes action and directs the crew in case of irregularities, escalating as needed.
Qualifications:
- A valid ATPL License is mandatory.
- Successful completion of the airline’s technical/psychometric assessment for Pilots.
- Successful completion of the airline's Medical Fitness check-up.
- Training in safety and emergency response is essential; formal qualification preferred.
- Basic Airport, security procedures and regulations training is desirable.
- Crew Resources Management Training is considered advantageous.
- Knowledge of IATA principles & standards relating to security is an advantage.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 4000 hours of total flight time.
- Minimum of 800 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on Airbus 320 aircraft.
- Acceptable industry knowledge in aircraft systems and operating procedures.
- Exposure to QA/Safety/Security/Audit procedures and practices related to Flight Operations.
- Ability to implement policies, procedures, and manuals as per approved standards and regulations.
- Cost-oriented with effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
Salary and Benefits:
- Monthly Salary During Initial Training: AED 20,199 (approximately US$5,500) net, plus per diem.
- Monthly Salary After Training/Final Line Check (Up to 60 Block Hours): AED 27,544 (approximately US$7,500) net, plus per diem.
- Flying Pay Above 60 Block Hours: AED 404 (approximately US$110) per block hour.
- Per Diem: AED 184 (approximately US$50) per day (average of US$1,500 per month) for food and miscellaneous expenses.

- Hotel accommodation on a Bed & Breakfast basis at the base of operation and layover stations. Includes personal laundry service (4 pieces of clothing per day).

- Economy class tickets at the commencement and end of the contract (up to 50 kilos of baggage allowance).

- 30 calendar days of Annual Leave Vacation (ALV) per year (accruing at 2.5 days per month). Paid vacation is granted after successful completion of initial training and line flying release. Paid vacation days are combined with rostered OFF days, guaranteeing a minimum of seven consecutive free-of-duty days per month.
