Key Responsibilities:

The A320 Type-rated Pilot will be responsible for conducting assigned flights in strict compliance with the detailed provisions of the Airline Operational Manual and all relevant civil aviation authority regulations. The primary focus is to ensure the highest standards of safety, security, and efficiency are achieved on every flight operated.

This role involves providing essential support and guidance to both flight and cabin crew members, effectively managing emergency and ad-hoc scenarios that may arise, and exercising ultimate command over the aircraft to ensure successful flight performance and uphold the airline's positive corporate image.

The pilot is required to ensure timely attendance, maintain proper grooming standards, verify personal fitness, and confirm the legality of self and the entire flight crew for assigned duties. Conducting thorough pre-flight briefings is essential to ensure all crew members are fully informed of flight details. Continuous briefing prior to each action is required as per adopted procedures.

Effective liaison with co-pilots (First Officer and Second Officer) and the Dispatch Team is crucial before each flight. Within the safety constraints detailed in the relevant sections of the Airline's Operations Manual, the pilot is responsible for flying the aircraft in a manner that makes the most efficient and effective use of fuel during the flight.

Finally, the pilot must ensure that required safety, security, fuel, and transit checks are diligently carried out by the assigned flight and cabin crew members before, during, and after each flight. The pilot is also responsible for taking necessary action and directing the crew on appropriate responses in case of safety or security irregularities, and deciding on necessary escalations.
